Ya know, Mary, I hadn't thought of that image of a large woman in skin tight clothing until you mentioned it. My late father always had negative things to say about large women in tight pants - he said they would look a lot smaller in loose clothing. He was probably right. But I'm not sure that theory holds once you get small - it seems you look larger in loose clothing.
Have we ever discussed butt cracks following LBL? I know my brain is processing in an odd way right now but the tight jeans comment got me thinking about my butt crack. Ya know, it's a lot higher after LBL than before. It's actually very odd looking.

I agree with your Daddy, big women in tight clothes only points out exactly how big they are. I believe that certain bellies should be guessed at, not shown!
Ummm....no, I don't ever recall discussing butt cracks witcha. Not that we haven't discussed every other body part that can be sliced and diced! Maybe it's all a matter of perspective. Mine seems high, but it isn't high for a normal person who hasn't been ravaged by being pulled on by gravity and weight. Like my nipples seem like they are in my neck, but they aren't any higher than a perfectly perky breast. But as big as mine were, they weren't this perky at fourteen!
Another thought. They came out with low rise jeans right around the time you had your butt lift, so maybe your butt crack went up right when your waistband went down??? What I'm still trying to figure out is how did doc get my butt cheeks so high and tight. I must have deep sutures down to my spine!

Big City, I think large women look best in fitted clothes - not tight, but tailored. Clothes at any size should not show each cellulite bump! Draped, my dear....draped.
Loose clothes only work if the line gets fitted in areas where we carry it best - and drapy or looser over areas that are blimpy!

Well, it's been two days now and I'm better. I ain't over it...but I'm better. How could they do this to us? Sometimes, I get the feeling they are trying to make us emotionally eat so we'll join their freakin' club! Nah, I don't believe that, but if I were still an emotional eater, I would have been piggin' out! Thanks for trying to console me,
Mary

Yanno, your post made me realize that I too have lost the level of mojo I once had!
I could not even answer this post this morning, had to think on it more. So after doing so, I'd have to say for the exercise part, I want to remain the envy of my kids & my pals...able to move & groove waaay better than most of them!
For food, which is more my challenge, I am merely trying to survive, which is not enough for what I need. I need to protect the investment I have made and get my @ss back on the stick.
To do so, I plan to re-join WW, using a low carb approach. I have to get back to journaling my fud, no two ways about it.
That stupid effin show...I hear ya! the way they cut to commercial at the most crucial moment, then when comm break is over, they re-play where you already seen. IRRITATUS MAXIMUS!!!!
