Cruise...Or No Cruise?

I was watching one of those weight loss competition shows on tv, and the prize was a two week stay at a weight loss spa in Arizona.  They had classes on nutrition, personal trainers, massage therapists, clay wraps, they cooked your diet food for you, and you were totally pampered...well, except maybe for in the gym with that personal trainer. Gagging

So here's my question for ya.  If you had your choice of prizes, which would you take and why.  This two weeks at the weight loss spa...or a two week cruise in the Bahamas with your sweetie?

I'd take the two weeks at the spa so I could find out why I can't lose one more stinkin' pound.  My metabolism would have them all shaking their heads!

I would take the cruise! My husband and I didn't get a honeymoon

Awwe Poor Baby, no honeymoon for you.  But with a new baby, I'd take the cruise with the sweetie, too.  Besides, with all of that "activity", you'd probably lose as much weight if you would have gone to the spa! Wink

I would take the two weeks at the weight loss spa. at least until I loose a lot more weight, then I want the cruise!! I'd love that. But the spa sounds great! Especially the massage, wraps and totally pampered part. The personal trainer sounds like hard work, but I bet I could learn alot/loose weight!

Good choice, Girlie.  You'd learn so much at the spa and lose so much weight, you'll have your choice of sweeties to take on the cruise.

I would love someone cooking for me for two weeks the most...now that's my idea of pampered!

I know, that idea sounded great to me, too! Do you think they would follow Atkins guidlines? Or if you went would you diet their way for 2 weeks? Did you happen to catch the name of the spa? I want to see if it has a website I could check out....just to dream. lol

I was just looking at the website, how did you know?  Dream away.

I think I would try to be open to what they had to say about my hormone condition.  I'm always open to finding out better ways to row this boat!

Good Lawd, how did you miss the rates?

But the menus were very interesting.

And this is about their diet.

I don't know how I could miss those rates either....Yikes! You're right though, the menu's look yummy, wish I hadn't looked though, It all sounds so good and I'm hungry! (ok, its all in my head, thats what I'm telling myself) I'm not sure if it's a quality weight loss spa, though. How can it be weight loss when it had homemade icecream and hot fudge sauce on the menu?? If they can make ice cream healthy, I'm there, high rates and all!!
