I know you're fed up, but maybe it's just time to take a break for a few days, and then try a different plan?

Don't give up girlie!!

       Dear Future Legend:

Your back up to 230, I wish I was 230.  I know of what you speak . I am so tried of trying to lose weight, and I am still here. I am always giving in. Food is my all; my companion, I live for eating . Food is all I have. It's there when I am alone and when I am in a group. You just can't escape it's clutches. What else can make you feel like food does.  Warm, Happy, Cool, Desirous, Comforting etc.  I am here to tell you DON'T GIVE UP!  Food is a fair weather friend, if you can call it a friend at all. It's always around until the money is gone, then it's no where to be found. It calls night and day. It makes you(you allow it) do all kinds of things you shouldn't be doing. Be strong, become the captain of your ship. Take control, no matter how many times it takes, to take charge.

For the time being, take a break, reassess, what do you want for yourself? You know what  you have to do, to get healthy. Get into life, be active, watch your portions, and the density of your food, more water in the food the more filled up and less calories, the weight will follow. ( I know when I get real busy and am active, it works.)

Now that I have dispensed my word of wisdom, I need to take my own advise. Here's to  our new Captain ship roll, the boss of our vessels, man all sails full speed ahead.

I'm sorry you are having such a ****ty time with this.  Ya know what though, you were about three hundred right??  Or am I wrong??  I know  "don't give up" is tiring, especially since you've been at it for so long.  But ya gotta remember how much you have lost!  Maybe your body wants to stay there for a reason.  Whatever it is, it is far better than what you weighed before!!  Try, try your hardest to maintain it.  Even if you do not lose any more weight....so be it.  That extra 75-100 pounds more on your body adds so much more health risks...and you know this.

Maybe once you maintain it for a long period of time maybe your body will decide to lose more...and if not, so be it!  200-230 is still over weight, but it's so much better than where you were.  So please look deep in your heart and in your faith to realize what going off your plan totally will do to you.

I swear your body is fighting to gain it all back.  You need to fight to stay at this weight girl.  You have to remember how much you were eating when you lost it, it wasn't that much!  I'll pray for you for strength to win this battle.  It's tough Lori, one I've lost before, so I REALLY want to see you win this.  Just maintain, maintain, and MAINTAIN!! :)

Relax, and maintain it and enjoy your life!!  That is what I think you should do.  There are so many women out there at this weight, I wouldn't sweat it too much at the moment.  You need to relax some and forget about losing any more for a while.

HUGS

Holly

232 today, Holly...

There's nothing I can do anymore............    I was at about 320.  Fought like hell and got down almost to 200.................... then you all know the story...  I'd put on between 11 and 20 lbs in 6 or 7 days, then fight for 3 weeks to take it back off every friggin' month.  Now it's not coming off anymore.. just keeps coming on...

Oh.. ps... I recently got dumped by my bf because I'm "TOO BIG" in his words............so..  everything revolves around size...............

I just don't want to do this anymore... wake up, get on the scale, and spend the next 3 hours crying...  There's nothing I can do anymore.

Oh Lori, my heart just sunk for you.  I wish I could give you a miracle and it would be all better.  I really do.  That guy..tell em' to kiss your ass. :)  I'm so sick of guys pulling that crap.  I went through it with a man of 15 years of marriage...never again.  Believe me, there is actually guys out there that take a person for who they are.  Better now than later with that guy, he doesn't sound like a winner or a keeper in my books.

I know this might sound stupid and a no brainer, but have you changed your diet much??  I just remember your food intake and well...you know what I've thought. :)  I remember I knew someone that went on a very strict diet, and she literally fought with herself and barely could eat anything for a good year or two before her metabolism finally worked itself out.  Now of course she probably was playing a very dangerous game, but she fought for that weight loss.  Her body was keeping a hold of every calorie she put into her body.  I'm not telling you to do this of course, just using it as an example of what I think your body is doing.  Of course I'm no expert, but what else can it be?!?!

Have you went to talk to someone about this at all?  Or did you give up on that idea?   If not I think you should, what could it hurt??  You have nothing to lose, right?  If you already talked with your doc about this, maybe you should see a weight loss doc.  He might have some ideas.

Well girl, whatever you decide I wish you all the luck in the world.  But I do know that you fought hard, and would hate for you to give it all up.   You were turning into a different person, one that actually liked herself! :)   I would hate for you to lose that.  You NEED this.   Do you work out at all anymore?  I just can't give up on the idea that you should still be fighting this.  Maybe not concentrate on the scale and concentrate in the gym.  Forget about the weight gain and just concentrate on eating well.  We know that leads to good health so you can't go wrong there. with eating well and working out.   After all, it is really about our health after all right? :)

Luvs ya Lori

Lor, that boy...not a friend of ours...needs his @ss KICKED. Thank that PUNK. he is not worth your time.  He sounds potentially abusive, what with being around doing booty call and suddenly your body size comes into play.

You may be at the point where your body is stopping...i think you look wonderful. You can look into WLS...just go listen to a seminar.

Oh that guy makes me see red.
