Goofed at dinner time

My husband and I felt upset by the fact that after getting two full paychecks yesterday, we have only $14.83 left in our checking account, after getting $600.00 from his father to pay off a very large heating bill ($527.55).  I asked the gas company to please put us on their budget plan, which they did, and from now on, we'll be paying around $196.00 a month, which is quite doable on our own.

We ordered dinner from Rally's, and really overdid it there, ordering a high-fat, high-calorie meal to drown out the bad feelings about our finances.  I tend to "cheat" on Saturday nights, mostly, which is because we both got paid on Friday, as usual.  I do forgive myself, but I need to stop doing this, as well.  It's destructive for both me and my husband, who copies my eating behavior, much to the detriment of his health and weight.

I can feel for you. I defrosted chicken tonight for dinner, but DH said 'lets get pizza" and I said ok. I only ate three slices and a couple bread sticks, but I know that I shouldn't be doing that, period! I don't know what advice I have for you, other than to say- I know how you feel!

As for me, I'm going to cook those damn chicken breast if it KILLS me tomorrow night. NOT going to repeat tonight’s pig fest! LOL!
