Valentine Plans anyone?
Since I just had surgery, I doubt that I'll be cleared for anything "fun", but you know what they say, where there's will, there's a way!

My Valentines day this year is going to my kids..or I should say especially one of them. My oldest lost his job, his car broke down, and about ready to lose it, just everything he seems to do lately has led to disappointment for him. So this year my husband and I are going to give him the car for the night with some money to take his girlfriend out. He doesn't know it yet though, I'll wait until that day to surprise him. To me that is a present enough..to see him smile and enjoy a day once again. Nineteen years old is such a tough age to be going through every thing he's going through right now..so I want him to have some fun.
As for my husband and I, we are about ready to make reservations to our favvorite summer spot and go there for a good five to nine days in May. This is a plush condo with a fire place and an ocean front with large windows....just beautiful. So it's our birthmas + Valentines day present to each other. :)
Michelle - you go, girl!
Valentine's Day is uncertain here. My daughter, 22 and having her little baby boy 6 weeks ago, has invites from two HANDSOME and precious guys. I love them both, but I'm partial to one. She has to decide which one she'll take up on the offer. Neither is really a "date", but just a "come spend time with me" invite. She didn't see this happening in her world post-baby. What's hilarious is that the two guys are best friends with each other, and play together in the band 'The Lonely Forest'. I think that band will seriously go very, very far.
So here's Grandpa and me. What do WE do for Valentine's Day? I had planned to make reservations at the Bonefish Grill (my favorite AFTER sushi!). Now I'm just waiting. I wonder if we can go out, and take little Sam with us!
