Wow, how romantic is that? Valentine Piano Just make sure that all of that stuff you bought includes some birth control cuz your plans sound an awful lot like my friends Valentine's Day before my Godchild was born. Wink

Since I just had surgery, I doubt that I'll be cleared for anything "fun", but you know what they say, where there's will, there's a way!

Girl, we had the "birth control" taken care of in Oct 2007, I sent my hubby to the Dr. if you know what I mean  makes that part of life so much more spontaneous and yes where there's a will, theirs always a way!

Yep, nothing like a little snip snip to make life more spontaneous!  Those kind of 'no worries' guys make the best Valentines.  Be My Valentine

Have a good time,

Mary

My Valentines day this year is going to my kids..or I should say especially one of them.  My oldest lost his job, his car broke down,  and about ready to lose it, just everything he seems to do lately has led to disappointment for him.  So this year my husband and I are going to give him the car for the night with some money to take his girlfriend out.  He doesn't know it yet though, I'll wait until that day to surprise him.  To me that is a present enough..to see him smile and enjoy a day once again.  Nineteen years old is such a tough age to be going through every thing he's going through right now..so I want him to have some fun.

As for my husband and I, we are about ready to make reservations to our favvorite summer spot and go there for a good five to nine days in May.  This is a plush condo with a fire place and an ocean front with large windows....just beautiful.  So it's our birthmas  + Valentines day present to each other. :)

I applaud you, Holly. That's absolutely awesome.

Michelle - you go, girl!

Valentine's Day is uncertain here. My daughter, 22 and having her little baby boy 6 weeks ago, has invites from two HANDSOME and precious guys. I love them both, but I'm partial to one. She has to decide which one she'll take up on the offer. Neither is really a "date", but just a "come spend time with me" invite. She didn't see this happening in her world post-baby. What's hilarious is that the two guys are best friends with each other, and play together in the band 'The Lonely Forest'. I think that band will seriously go very, very far.

So here's Grandpa and me. What do WE do for Valentine's Day? I had planned to make reservations at the Bonefish Grill (my favorite AFTER sushi!). Now I'm just waiting. I wonder if we can go out, and take little Sam with us!

Well as for us..we had plans to go to the Olive Garden..my favorite place..and my husband decided we would go with his friend and wife..well they backed out on us yesterday..My son started running a 102 fever lastnight..and i honestly dont feel like fighting the crowds! My husbands aunt was going to watch the boys..but i am thinking that we may just cancel for this weekend..and do something next weekend when traffic and everything isnt so bad! Just not up to fighting the traffic and crowds. Not only that..not sending my kiddo to someone when he isnt feeling good..he has strep! Not only that..i think aunt flo is going to hit like any moment now..TMI i know!!

too bad your little guy isn't feeling so well, I hate it when my kids are sick! well I hope you have a good Valentines day anyway, and you are smart about not wanting to face the crowds, that is the part I am least looking forward to!

oh I went to trader joes yesterday and bought a carton of big red strawberries (thanks for the idea Holly) and I also bought a bar of organic super dark chocolate, then today I melted the bar of choc. and dipped the strawberries in the melted choc and arranged them on a pretty red and white plate and hid them in the back of the fridge, so when we get home from our dinner date voila! I had to try one just to make sure they were good, they were!
