I may need some support from Non weight loss form friends. I had a procedure done last week called endoscopy.To see if i can get a revision.But My old gastric bypass done 29years ago failed. And it looks like a real mess.My new surgeon told me. A group of doctors have decided it I can have the surgery. or not. But deep inside i feel its not going to happen.I started losing weight.Because you have lose weight for the surgery.I have had some slips.But These months on my diet plan i have lost 54lbs.Only 98lbs to go to goal.So even if I don't get the surgery.I will stick to my diet plan.Thanks for listing.Edna

Sounds like you've been through it all. Glad to hear that you are figuring out how to lose the wieght on your own though. You are doing great! There is a lot of nice people here, so stick around. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Edna! You look like you are about 29 years old! That is amazing that it has been 29 years. Do you have health issues as a result of it being botched up? Stuff like iron deficiency or???? I would be fascinated to know if you feel like sharing.
As you well realize, it is not impossible to lose the old fashioned way. I find that it takes constant monitoring and dedication to do all the right things (exercise, better foods). We all whine from time to time and feel sorry for ourselves, but hey...at least we are all on THIS side of the dirt and at least have the wherewithall to keep searching and trying new things!
