New month!
I weighed myself this morning in the nude, after urinating, and I only gained one pound, after overeating all week! Even though I gained, this is good news! I've decided to start changing the way I eat again today, instead of tomorrow. If I eat those cookies after the church service today, it will make it that much harder to give up the other overeating behaviors that I've been doing tomorrow. What not start today, on the first of the month?
Breakfast
4 buckwheat pancakes with margarine & sugar-free syrup
2 scrambled eggs
3/4 cup concord grape juice
1-1/2 cups light soy milk
1 cup hazelnut coffee
2 cups water
Lunch
1 cup cornmeal mush with 3 packets of Sweet 'N Low
3/4 cup light soy milk
Dinner
Leftover chili
1/4 serving cornbread with 1 tsp. margarine
1/2 can light fruit ****tail, drained
1 glass diet rootbeer
2 chocolate-flavored graham crackers
I know that the above fair won't put any more weight on me, as long as I pass up the cookies after the church service today. I told myself that I was "tired" of passing them up, and wanted to eat them "like other people do". This is a ridiculous reason to eat them, don't you agree?

"Other people" do a lot of silly things in the name of socially accepted behavior. If you're bold enough, you may suggest alternative snacks such as tiny apples or pears, offered along with the cookies... there are lots of people who would jump on that.
