I did a 7 day cleanse that I bought at GNC and that was a joke.  I bought a 30 day cleanse at the health food store that my massage therapist recommended and it is working great.  My problem seems to be that it is also cleansing my pores cuz my skin broke out.  Yikes!

Good Luck,

So what exactly is the point of a cleanse?  To rid your body of toxins?  To clean your colon?  To lose weight?  I'm not being a smartass, just don't understand why people do it?

The Short answer is yes, for me the point of this cleanse is to clean out the entire digestive track of toxins and built up waste.

Same thing as colonics only less intrusive.  However, wholly unnecessary and unfortunately people still buy the stuff.

Please share your reasoning for pursuing this.

I support you, but not the idea of a cleanse.  There truly is no such thing (pseudo science and junk products) and hate to see others pursue such ineffective routines.  They are a waste of time, money, and energy.

Some do this thinking it helps with toxins.  Science has proven this as bunk.  What they cite as support is scientifically weak.

Some do this thinking it will motivate a change in behaviors.  Well, why not just get on a healthy bandwagon.

Some think this is a healthy option--it can actually be quite detrimental to your health.

Some think this will achieve weight loss.  The truth is, this is THE WORST way to go about weight loss.  It has tremendously negative impact on one's metabolism and the loss will only be short term.

Please take true care of yourself.

Okay guys so I started this morning, The regimen is to Eat Cleansing Chicken soup for the first day, it consists of organic free range pastured chicken, organic fresh vegetables such as garlic, ginger, onions, carrots, green beans, celery and also some extra virgin coconut oil and ceyene pepper, oh and sea salt, I put it all in the crock pot last night and it was ready for breakfast, it is so yummy! I will eat this 5 times today, then the cleanse product's which also are all natural organic   with no harsh chemicals or additives, will be taken after dinner tonight, before bed. Tomorrow I will eat the chicken soup again, but ad in salad and Raw veggies, this will go on for days 2-4, then after that I will add in some whole milk  dairy products like kefir and plain yogurt, and raw cheeses. and to transition back off the cleanse I will add in some fatty wild fish for dinner, like salmon or tuna on days 8-10. So That is it in a nutshell,  I'll let you all know my progress!

It sounds awesome!

I am also cynical about the herbs part, but the good whole foods? wow, no medicine better.

I think it is restorative to your soul and intestines to give it a rest. I no longer like the true fasts where one does nothing bu****er, but something like this with mostly cooked and raw veggies...i think I feel healed right along with you just reading it.

Why so good to your soul? Holy men across the ages have fasted to be near to God and I always love that notion.
