What did you eat today? 01/15
B: Coffee w/powder creamer (4 carbs)
L: Salad (3 carbs)
S: Coffee w/powder creamer (4 carbs)
D: Steak - no veggie
Carbs: 11
I'm in a HORRIBLE mood. I got on the scale this morning and it said I went up .8. Are you ******g kidding me??? I feel like I can't do anything right. I'm cutting out the SF treats completely for a little while and going back to basics on food big time. I used powder creamer this morning because someone used my heavy cream in the fridge. I was pissed. I almost fell off the wagon and ordered a sandwich for lunch. I didn't do it though...
I'm at a serious low point.
on 1/15/09 3:19 am - Rochester, NY
B: 1 egg, 2 white omelet with mushrooms
L: 1 1/2 bowls dreaded bean soup (put rest in freezer)
D: 4 oz. pork tenderloin
small sweet potato
1 cup Italian green beans with sprinkle Parmesan cheese
small salad with oil & vinegar dressing
S: medium apple
I have been up and down the same 7 lbs since fall...but my jeans are consistently getting bigger. The scale LIES.
It's not about weight loss, it's about fat loss. Remember that.
Awe, Neen...hang in there. It is a ****** and a half at times. My body is likewise stubborn; it scares me more than it ****** me off anymore.
Look all I can say is you are trying to do all the right things. Just be kind to yourself and TRY to rawk on, be grateful for what you do accomplish.
I have to focus on how great I feel eating the way I do...I HATE how overstuffed a sandwich makes me feel anymore. I'm over that at least. Fast food when I do eat it either makes me feel bloaty or it just makes me feel hungrier.
You might try to have a carb up day once in a while and go back to LC for several days...I keep talking about checking into that carb up/down wendy chant...i really think there is something to all that.

To dear Janina -
Your spirit and your desire always inspire me. You are sticking to your goal to become healthy, and I absolutely admire that. You're smart to cut out SF treats (how much do we really know about what those chemicals do to us?) and get closer to the earth. Hang in there, girl. It could be just the shake up your routine needs for you to have that occasional whole grain, healthy sandwich without processed meats or processed cheese...
20 oz water on waking up
B: IsaLean vanilla shake with IsaFruits, FiberPro, extra calcium, and a half scoop of orange 'Want More Energy' B vitamin/electrolyte powder (combined with the IsaFruits it makes my shake taste like a tropical treat)
20 oz water chaser
S: Cappuccino at 'Mocha Teo' latte stand in Mukilteo. I go there because the name is clever
L: Two small pears - i think they're called sickle pears? And they're about 2 inches tall at best. 1/4 piece of pumpkin tea bread, IsaLean creamy tomato soup. 20 oz water
S: another little pear and 20 oz water
D: ooooooo mama. I tripped on a bag of chips DD was munching and had a pretty good bunch, with some bean dip (Had a window guy coming, no time to make dinner) In my defense, they were organic corn tortilla chips from Trader Joe's, and it was organic bean dip that is actually quite healthy. (ha ha) Then I got smart and had another IsaLean shake (I always feel so lucky when I have more than one in a day)
S: no snack... a little more water
Life is N-U-T-S right now. We're moving the appliance store to Mukilteo from N Seattle (I've whined that before) with all that involves. Gosh. Baby boy is trying to settle into the world, and Grandma is Mommy's right hand as there is nobody else in her life to support her. We're refinancing both homes; one to pay off our business loan, and the other so we can improve the place (new windows, heat pump). We have had either out of town, or "for the day" company every single day since baby arrived with few exceptions. Wah wah wah! But we're still laughing. Yesterday I cleaned a used refrigerator so well it almost floated up to heaven. On the way home, on our work cell, I sold it for $197. That's how the used appliance business works.
