Today I decided, to play on the Internet for awhile, Because I woke up to a beautiful blanket of very white snow.( blinding in the sun, and deep..) I still put on my pedometer, even though I will not put the miles on, like I do when I go out.  You know, you would be surprised how many steps we put in just cooking, cleaning and doing laundry; then if you go out shopping boy do you rack up the steps. I was surprised. Today I am going to enjoy the beauty of the outside, inside my warm home.  Exercise ( resistance and stretching.) Watch what I eat, and wonder what you all are doing this winter day.(or have done.) Giving thanks for all that I have.

I like that...enjoy the beauty of outside, from the beauty of my own home.   That's a good way to look at it! :)  Sounds like you are having a relaxing day.  Enjoy!

FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL!  Even though my favorite teams are no longer in the playoffs, I'm a football nut and have to get my last fixes these next couple of weeks.

Also finally took down all the Christmas decorations (boo) and now the house looks so blah!

Made a pot of ham and bean soup, turned on the fireplace and just kickin back and relaxin.  Will watch the Golden Globes tonight.

What a full day we're having.

Started by sleeping in because we stayed up late watching a hilarious movie on demand (just got that feature) that I'd never heard of. 'The Family Stone' was just entertaining. Our 1.5 week company left last night, so I stripped the bed this morning and tossed in a huge load of laundry to do while we were at church. After church we hit the gym. YAY for the gym. I'm beatin' Mary's buns if at ALL possible. So I did 30 hard minutes on the elliptical and my new favorite ab killers on the incline board - plus a whole series of weight machines. Gramma's got guns. Home again, and what do you know, we've got more out of town company. Wow. Time to go to Seattle and meet John Paul and his fam for dinner. John's the State Patrol Sergeant who dropped 40lbs in one month on my program. Over a year ago, I might add. While driving there I got a call from my #2 son who informed me he was on his way to our house to spend two days with his new little nephew. And that's where he is now, holding little Sam and getting to know him. He just commented "It looks like you've got a nice brain in there. Yeah, brain." Greg cracks me up. Time to re-make the guest bed (sheets are drying)! It just never stops!

Must go, baby Sam sounds like he needs a diaper change, and uncle Greggy isn't the man for the job. Watch for some more posted pictures soon.
