PROUD...This New Format
Hi, Marv here...have I mentioned how much I hate this new format??? I can't even put the whole title of this post up because they only give you one stinkin' line now. So the "What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud" post will now be known as the PROUD post. Aaaaaargh! And what the hell is up with all of the letters running together in a larger font? It's more like deciphering than reading. So now I'm using a smaller font on the HTML Editor #2. This sucks...Aaaaaargh! I did this because using the larger font makes my signature come out as Marv. And no I did NOT have a sex change. This is whack....Aaaaaargh!
*debarking the soapbox*
My proud for the day. I went to Sam's and walked every inch of that place. When I got home, I realized that my ankles were normal. Back in the day, when I just walked on concrete for thirty minutes my ankles would swell so bad that I came home with elephant ankles and my feet hurt like hell...Yay me, no elephant ankles! How cool is that?

My proud:
big walk after work!
did not eat one thing off plan today
"The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don't want, drink what you don't like, and do what you'd rather not." ~Mark Twain
I'm always amazed how you stay on plan when you have to go through the pit everyday. You should be way proud!

Congrats on losing the elephant ankles!! lol Mine are more like elephant legs! I get swelling from my knees on down. Since loosing some weight my feet are almost back to normal, though, and the swelling in my calves is much better (but not gone)
My proud today is that I stuck to my plan and resisted temptation. I've been so stressed about the weather here (It's basically been snowing since last Sun. night. We're supposed to get more tomorrow, and have another good size snow storm this Sun and Mon. This in the Valley in OR, where we don't get snow that sticks around for very long, maybe a day or two, if that.) I'm supposed to drive to 30 miles on Monday to catch my train, and I hate driving in the ice and snow. *taking a deep breath* It makes me stressed and anxious, when I have enough anxiety issues without adding more due to the weather.
Anyway, I kept going back and forth to the kitchen, opening up the fridge looking for something to eat. (I'm a stress eater****pt looking, but resisted. I'm proud that I didn't give in, and now I've (hopefully) found a solution to my problem (got chains for my tires) and can stop stressing.
Hey great news about your feet. I was surprised how after I got to 270, my feet didn't hurt anymore. Now, they rarely even get tired. It's one of the benefits I wasn't counting on.
Stay outta that kitchen! Staring at what is in the fridge is bad for your waistline and bad for your electric bill. And that causes more stress. It's like daring yourself not to eat it...you know we sometimes have a hard time with that particular battle!
