Abstinence - 248th Day

I called an OA friend of mine for over 20 years and told her about my sleep apnea.  She told me that using a CPAP machine would help me lose weight faster, and improve my health.  This sounded very good to me, and I wanted some feedback from you guys on that.

Breakfast 
1 orange
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup light soy milk
1 cup coffee
2 cups water

Wal-Mucin in 8 oz. water

Lunch
Small breaded veal fritter
1/2 cup macaroni with tomato sauce
1/3 cup cooked lima beans
1/3 cup cooked apricots (4 of them)
2 cups water

Dinner 
Rotisserie chicken leg & wing with skin
1 cup mashed potatoes with light soy milk & margarine
25 grapes
1/2 can New England clam chowder
2 cups light soy milk
2 chocolate-flavored graham crackers

my sleep apnea dr. told me that using my CPAP would help with a ton of health problems, from headaches to weightloss. Mostly cause your brain is getting the oxygen it needs to function, which helps everything else function better. I havn't worn mine for the past week (I HATE my mask, it was hurting to wear it, and now that I'm loosing weight, it doesnt' fit right. Which is a good thing but annoying, cause I cant get it adjusted so it's comfortable again.) *sigh* I guess I'll just have to suck it up and start wearing it again. I've been awful tired durning the day the past couple days, and I know that it's cause I'm not breathing while I'm sleeping.

kitties, it's worth a try.  My friend debby has used one for about 5 years now.  her weight has gone up and down like always. She loves how much more alert she feels. Debby is also more rested, can get by with less sleep b/c she is making the most of the time she is in bed!

you can also keep your heart healthy by better sleep - so by all means, weight loss aside, lots of great reasons to get this going.
