Abstinence - 247th Day

I do not know what or where I will be eating breakfast today, since it depends on how our clogged up drains respond to Drano Foaming.  Yesterday morning, I prepared our dishwasher to run, and dumped the old dish water from the soaking dishes into one of the drains in our kitchen sink.  It was sluggish draining, so I went to the bathroom to get the plunger, and noticed that there was backed up dirty water in our bathroom sink, as well.  The kitchen and bathroom sinks are connected, so I knew there was a serious clog in our bathroom sink as well as the two drains in our kitchen sink.  I told my husband about this, and he turned off the dishwasher, and left me a number for a plumber we had used before.  I tried calling this plumber twice yesterday to come in today, but he never returned my calls.  So yesterday evening, we decided to try unclogging the drains ourselves, and I used Drano Foaming, and left it to work overnight, as the package suggested.

If the drains are unclogged this morning, I will cook breakfast at home.  If not, we will eat breakfast out, and I won't be able to have what I planned, since pancakes were part of that, and they don't serve sugar-free syrup at restaurants.  My husband is a diabetic and even though I'm not, I certainly don't need that much excess sugar in my system, either.  I will be cooking at home for dinner, however, or so I hope.  I'd like to get those dirty dishes and stainless ware washed, and I'd like to be able to do my personal hygiene in the bathroom sink again.  Here's hoping for the best.
