Posting for the Atkins Queen herself....
I'm proud of all you guys on the Atkins bandwagon! Keep the momentum going and don't let the holiday carbs derail you. I won't (ever) be joining you but I'll continue to cheer you on.
Have a great weekend everyone,
Kim
I'm proud that I haven't TOUCHED that Christmas tin of Dora's to 'die for' homemade white chocolate candy that she just bought over. And that heffa had the nerve to tell me that all diets are off until the New Year! She can't exactly afford all of that candy either, if you know what I mean, and I'm not talking about the money!
I bought a red blouse for Christmas and it ain't gonna fit eating that stuff. But I've been a good girl, last night I had dungeness crabs with drawn butter for dinner, so my blouse is safe for now, although I'll admit that smelling that candy that DH is shoving down his throat is making me a li'l weak in the knees! I keep telling masself that I'd rather be cute than fat for Christmas.
Stay strong everybody...everyone is going to be encouraging you to eat Christmas Goodies but just remember, there ain't nothin' GOOD for you about them! Let us all strive to learn to change our behaviour for the holidays. For years we have pigged out and called it celebrating. There is no law that says you have to eat crap to be festive. Besides, going to a party and having everyone talk about how much smaller you look and how much they've gained is the best reward for not putting trash in ya face!

Today is the 14th for me - my proud today is a walk in the freezy rain! And 6 inches of chicken sub, not the whole thing.
