What did you eat today 12/8/08?

Breakfast- Chicken breast w/Peppered jack cheese Omelette (3 carbs)

Snack- 1 cup sliced cucumbers (2 carbs)

Lunch- Salad with Taco meat and bacon bits & FF dressing (6 carbs)

Snack- celery sticks w/cream cheese (2 carbs) 

Dinner- grilled chicken breast w/ brocolli w/melted cheddar cheese on top. (5 carbs)

Evening snack- SF jello cup

ALSO GETTING IN A TAE BO WORKOUT TODAY!!!!

Okay, I'm confused.  I'm not sure if we're supposed to post what we are planning on eating today, or what we already ate.  I'm on the west coast, but still, you couldn't have possibley eaten dinner already, right?  It's 10:20 am here, so it must only be 2:20 if you're on the East coast.  Maybe we should call these threads "what are you going to eat today", or "what did you eat yesterday". 
By the way, your menu looks right up my alley.  Yum!

You can post what you are going to eat for the day that is posted. It helps you plan out what you are going to eat to help stay on track for the day.

I'm on the west coast too. I always wait till after dinner to post what I have eaten...If I plan it out and write down what I'm going to eat before I've eaten it, I'm more likely to cheat. I need to know that at the end of the day, everything that I ACTUALLY put in my mouth is going on this board, not just what I PLANNED on putting in my mouth.

B: Coffee w/cream
L: Tilapia Citronette from Trader Joe's* (4 carbs)
D: Hot wings w/blue cheese dressing (4 carbs)

Carbs: 8

*Tilapia Citronette from Trader Joe's - Oh  My  God is it good.  It's got 4 carbs per serving (yes I'm eating the whole thing*).  It's a little citrus-ee, a little sweet from the veggies (asparagus & carrots) and not "fishy" at all.  It's got 38 grams of protein per serving - 38 grams!!! And it's a microwave meal - it's awesome.  For all my Atkin's friends, this is a must-buy.

BTW, my CW is back down to the lowest: 268.  Yay me!!

*edited - the damn band only allowed me to eat half... freakin' thing...

hahaha, I had to laugh when I read you were pissed over your band not allowing you to eat something.lol  Tsk, tsk Janina....hehe  That thing must of been good!

I lost two pounds this week...YAY.  Now one more pound to go until I'm back to my highest before my depression hit me a month or so ago..arghh

B:  eggs, turkey bacon, and green juice.... 295 cal

S:  two manderine oranges ....90 cal

D:  hamburger with pickle

L:  spinach, black beans, dressing, and nonfat yogurt with a fruit mix....400 cal

I'll edit rest later.

S: atkins endulge bar (2 carbs)
L: atkins endulge bar (2 carbs) i have to stop buying these...too much like a candy bar!! & old    
    habits  die hard!
D: HUGE taco salad w/ lettuce, seasoned hamburger, cheese, salsa, sour cream  (18 carbs)
     way overdid it with the sour cream and salsa, could have been half the size I made the salad 
     and would have been satisfying. Instead, I ate almost all of it and have felt sick ever since!

Carbs: 25  went over my carbs for the day too....stupid. stupid. stupid.

Hey you, quit calling yourself stupid before I have to come and smack you!  Anybody who can lose as much weight as you have has to have some intelligence going on.

And after the first two weeks of Atkins Induction, you can start adding more than twenty carbs.  It will slow down your weight loss, but it also keeps you from going insane!

Even smart people can have stupid moments!   And I know that after induction I can have more than 20 carbs, so I should be easier on myself. I have so much weight to lose, I don't really WANT it to slow down...at least till after Christmas. I'm gonna do two weeks of induction when I get home from my parents, and then maybe add more carbs. The thing is, when I eat more carbs, after so long with so few, it feels weird, like I'm REALLY overeating...lol   I guess thats good news.
A question for the Atkins Queen, could it hurt (nutritionally) for me to continue eating at induction levels? (20 carbs or less??) I have added nuts (infrequently) into my diet, which induction doesn't allow. I like peanuts!

B:  EZ muffin with fried egg and 2 slices turkey bacon....my idea of an Egg McMuffin
S:  Atkins shake
L:  2 scoops chicken salad
      tangerine
S:  christmas cookie (1)
D:  leftovers (braised red cabbage with few slices turkey kielbasa, stuffed pork loin with Italian sausage and apple stuffing, butternut squash and apple casserole, cranberry relish)
S:  sliver applesauce spice cake with scoop LF ice cream
