What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud?

All within a 24hr period. My dad lives in Flordia and sometimes I wish we lived down their. But, I think I would go crazy without a white christmas. After living 25 years in michigan with the white stuff each year, I dont know if I could do it.

Dang Sherrie, you are some kind of SERIOUS about wanting some of that white stuff for Christmas!  I live in the deep, deep, deep South and the high today was 72 degrees and sunny.  To me, it was pure heaven, but you would NEVER make it down here, I've never seen a white Christmas!

I hope you get your snow soon.

Sherrie! I'm so impressed you have all your presents bought and everything set up and done for Christmas except for decorating the tree!!  I love Christmas, its my favorite holiday. I tried to put my outside decorations up yesterday, but found that ALL my outside lights are burnt out/not working!! (what the heck?? they were working when I took them down last year!!)  So I'm kinda bummed.I put out the decorations I could, but it's not as much as I usually have up and that makes me sad.

I know what you mean. Although I live in Alaska and hate snow, I do like it to be white on Christmas.  Right now everything is white and I'm depressed over it.  Lol, I want it just to snow that day and that's it!hehe  My husband had to travel for work about five hours awat yesterday and today.  In the truck it said negative 42 and went out, it couldn't read it anymore.  BRRRRR

Negative 42...now that's just barbaric!

You can just go outside and FREEZE your ass off!!! 

hahaha, luckily it's not right here.  He went to Nenana, which is by Fairbanks.  Fairbanks gets FREEZING in the winter time and hotter than us in the summer.  Thankfully we're cold, but not that cold!

I'm proud that instead of dropping my daughter off at school and coming home and going back to bed (had a late night last night working on homework, finals week next week, yuck!!) I got dressed and went to my counciling session and then to class. I almost fell asleep while the teacher had the lights off doing a powerpoint presentation, but hey, I was there!!

Well bless your heart, you are working way too hard.  How are you doing handling the stress of finals AND dieting?

All of that and learning to cook, too...now that's impressive, girlee!

Speaking of cold; a customer came into our appliance store today. She might have been 60ish. She was a dry-humored woman, and I enjoyed her a LOT. It's cold in our store - no heat at all. *shudder* As we were writing up the sale she quipped "I don't mind the cold, I KEEP  better in this weather and don't need as many preservatives."


I'm proud that I sold 8 brand new appliances between yesterday and today. That's awesome coolness, dude.

We're getting out of our retail location, working from our storage facility starting in January. At least it's warm.
