smoky gouda tomato soup (at a restaurant...delish)

D: ???? Boyfriend taking me out tonight for dinner will update later. My boyfriend took me to our favorite sushi reastaurant and I had the Adkins roll. Its not as good as my usual sushi but I didnt have to cheat to enjoy sushi which I love.

Hi! I'm curious, what is no carb lasagna?? What does it have in it? How do you make it or what brand is it/where do you buy it?? Lasagna is one of my favorite things (all pasta is) and with Atkins, I havn't found any low carb enough that I can eat it.

I make the no carb lasagna at home. Its really easy. I just use marinara sauce, I eather make South Beach's maranara, or look for one with no sugar in it. I use ground turkey, cheese, and spagetti squash. I cook the trukey and the squash, then cut the squash in slices. I then layer the squash, turkey, marinara, and chease a couple of times. Throw it in the oven till the cheese is melted. It is so good. One of my favorite meals now.

What a good idea!! How do you make the South beach's maranara sauce?? And how do you cook the squash so you can slice it? I've seen how people cook it and then scoop it out and its stringy like spagetti noodles, but not sure how you would cook it and slice it. Sorry 'bout all the stupid questions, I'm still trying to learn how to cook...I can bake goodies very well, but when it comes to cooking a main course, especially a HEALTHY main course, I've got a lot to learn!!
Marinara Sauce:
1-1/2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes
1-1/4 cups tomato sauce
2 tablespoons minced parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1 teaspoon dried oregano or marjoram, crushed
Salt and pepper to taste
I Just cook it in the microwave. I place it on a place with a tiny bit of water, cover with saran wrap and coo****il its fairly soft. I scoup out the seeds and take of the outside skin. I then just slice it. Its a little messy but when its layered in the lasagna you can tell. It is really good though.
