Abstinence - 230th Day - Turkey Day!
I didn't post my abstinence yesterday because my computer was down.
Breakfast
1 cup grits
1 banana
1 cup fat free soy milk
1 cup hazelnut coffee
2 cups water
Lunch (Thanksgiving Feast)
4-6 oz roast turkey
1 cup mashed potatoes (without gravy, if possible)
1/2 cup cranberry sauce
Modest portion of available vegetable(s)
2 cups appropriate drink, preferably diet soda of some kind
1 modest piece pumpkin pie with whipped cream (if available)
Dinner (if hungry in the evening)
1 cup leftover Classic Beef Stroganoff
1 cup whole grain noodles
25 grapes
1 cup cooked cauliflower
2 cups fat free soy milk
I will do alot of praying before the Thanksgiving Meal, asking God for the willingness to take only those foods that I listed above to eat, and the willingness to eat moderate portions of them. I've never done this before - I've always taken a portion of just about every food offered by the potlock meal, which is a heck of alot of food, even if each portion is moderate. I'll eat just like I ordered my meal in a restaurant, instead of a smogasbord.
