The Memorials
Someone jsut posted about haivng found inspiration by looking at the Memorial page on this website. I never knew there was such a thing, but I just looked at it.
I am at a loss for words..I have never considered surgery as an option, and seeing this memorial made it all the more real for me.
Not just for how many people have lost their lives in this battle, but also for any person, having had surgery or not, being overweight will most certainly make your life shorter.. that is a really scary reality.
I think when we have diffuclt imes this winter, trying not to make bad choices, we should think of these people and and how REAL this is, and make decisions that will benfit us instead of compromising our lives.

Totally agree! This is very real and I'm thankful that I've found a new lifestyle that didn't involve surgery. I seriously considered it, but in the end it was too risky for me and deep down I knew I could lose the weight with a healthy diet and excercise, and I've done just that!
I lost my weight with Weight Watcher's & Zumba. I've lost 302 lbs. You can visit my weight loss website at www.freewebs.com/infectiouslaughter
I'll be in the Jan. 2012 issue of People Magazine's "Half Their Weight" issue!!
