I broke out my old weigh****chers packet to help control my portion sizes and some old workout dvds. Whats my motivation the memorial on this site. Im 28 years old and Im not ready to die. Welcome to the board Nadia...I personally think WW is a helluva lot better plan than getting your guts rerouted!  Stick around and let us know how you are doing.  At 28, you have your whole life ahead of you to figure this out.

Good Luck,

Mary

Welcome Nadia! I'm so excited to see younger people on here...not that I don't love my OH mamas! I agree with miss Mary, save yourself from getting your plumbing redone...WW is an awesome program although you may want to update your books depending on how old they are I know they changed everything a few years ago. Good luck and we're here for you

I would tell you to do your research and find a plan that works for you.  We are all different and things that work for some may not work for others hence an RNY may work for some and a DS for other and in all fairness ladies WW for some and Atkins for others in the end it does come down to support.  I wish you many blessings on whatever path or journey you embark on.

PS  I never thought of using the terminology of having my guts rearranged...I guess more supportively I would have prefered lifesaving medical intervention..Gee thanks for the support

Hi Nadia!
I agree with StacyAnn, its nice to see people my age in here struggling with there weight too. Sometimes I feel like I'm too young to be soo fat...(not that ANY time is a good time to be fat!! lol)
I worry about dying because of my wieght too. Im a single mom with a 5 yr old dd, and I simply CAN'T die. So I'm trying to become healthy. I love this site and all the support.
Welcome Welcome Welcome, and hope to get to know you better!

Hey Nadia,
Happy Thanksgiving.  I find that if I drink protien shakes and egg drop soup during the day, that I can have a light dinner at night .  Some days I eat a lot of ice pops ( sugar Free) @night,  but that added extra treat ( 15 cal each) give me the room I need when I want something sweet.  Good luck.  28years old is just the right age to turn your life around.!  Cindy.

Hi Nadia,

Wow this post made me feel old..(not you, the whole thread :D  ).  Pffffffft thanks guys..hehe.

Welcome to the board.  There's a lot of great people here, that will help with support through your tough times as much as cheering you on through the good times.   It's hard, I know!  I've also been thinking a lot about ones who die from obesity.  It's a teribble thing, such a nasty disease.  One day at a time....

I look forward to getting to know ya better.

Holly
