Yummy spaghetti squash....I've eaten a ton of it this week!
B: Steel cut oatmeal
strawberry Atkins shake
S: Egg McMuffin (without the muffin or cheese....tried to salvage the cheese but it was glued to the muffing!
L: vanilla Atkins shake
S: 4 oz. turkey breast
D: pork tenderloin (6oz)
steamed broccoli
braised red cabbage
S: probably Atkins "hot cocoa"

I have a question for anyone doing atkins....kinda gross... This is my 4th day on Atkins, and its getting easier, thats not the problem. Two days ago when I had a serving of baby carrots (higher carbs in 1 serving than I have been eating) I got sick to my stomach and had to literally run to the bathroom before I had an 'accident' in my pants. Today when I had green beans with dinner, less than 15 minutes later I had the same problem. What is up with that? is it normal? Is it too many carbs at once for my body when I've been depriving it carbs? Or what?? I just want to know so I know what NOT to eat...

Exact same thing happens to me (and I'm on Atkin's for 3 months now). In my eyes, it's the increase of fat that's causing the diarrhea. That's my opinion. Whether or not I'm right is another story, but the same thing happens to me - trust me, it's normal and a GOOD thing, because so often, constipation is associated with atkin's, and constipation is much worse. .
