125 pounds to lose!
Even though it's been a busy week with a little extra eating out and NO official exercise - I lost some weight!!!!! I'm thrilled with it. I feel great about losing 5 pounds in the last couple of weeks. I'm not finding myself obsessing (often anyway) about things. The obsessing over doing it "perfect" or completely going crazy eating everything if it's not "perfect" has been a huge road block for me in the past. I'm trying not to label things or days or meals as "perfect" or imperfect - just trying to eat like I know my body needs. This may not make sense to others, but food has become this great big issue in my life and I really needed to let go of some of the notions that have been guiding me to this place that I don't want to be. I believe in myself. I know I CAN trust myself to do this. And it feels darn good!
GOOD FOR YOU! There is no such thing as a perfect plan, life takes over and sometimes we have to feed our body whether or not it is the perfect meal!
It's kinda been that way for me for a while.....been helping my parents with a major move and sometimes the food choices that were available weren't the most nutritious but had to suffice in a pinch! Had to scrape the toppings off a piece of pizza to eat one day, eat BBQ meat and baked beans the next and Capt. D's fish the next, oh well, life must go on. Don't beat yourself up, just vow to do better, and do it!!!!!

GREAT job. It's really awesome to celebrate every little accomplishment. Doing that will keep you going.
This past week I had my health coach here doing product demonstrations and teaching about nutrition. One of the amazing things he did was to make personal visits to a few of my clients. He was so encouraging and supportive, I know it made all the difference.
That's why being on this forum is so great. All those who post, well, 99.9% of those who post, support whichever eating plan you select to reach your goal. If you get a gentle nudge, it's nearly always a "been there done that" positive guidance, and not a criticism. I love the gentle spirit of the women on this forum. Well, I also love the fire in the belly spirit of most of them!!! It's a great cheering section. I am learning how much you require your brain to lose weight before your body will. It sounds kind of strange, but one of my friends who lost 110lbs in just over 6 months said he "lost" 50 pounds the instant his daughter announced her upcoming wedding. The body followed.
Celebrate, girl!
