What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud?

OMG, I almost had a meltdown,  Nervous I'm still a li'l shaky, but I'm good.  This is what happened.  I forgot to bring my Atkins granola bar with me to eat on the way to my lymphatic massage, but I wasn't hungry. My friend PJ, called when I got out and wanted me to meet her at the Marble Slab Creamery cuz she was craving ice cream.  Good Lawd, that skinny ***** ate two scoops of pistacchio ice cream, plus another scoop.  And then had the nerve to ***** cuz her butt is getting big!   Pissed I had coffee.  DH called and wanted me to bring him home some of their 'to die for' chocolate fudge brownies with walnuts and the smell like to have made me stop on the side of the road and eat them ALL!   I managed to make it home and fix me a salad, but I was definitely shaking at that point from not eating all day.  So I am extremely proud that I wasn't unfaithful to Dr. Atkins although it weren't pretty!

I got back in the Gym after months of excuses and lazyness. I completed a cardio workout class for total body, but focused on abs. It felt great to get back in there, although today my legs are SOOOO sore and feel like Jello. So now all I gotta do is stay focused on the goal and keep going...

Wow, I am so glad to hear that you have given up the excuses and are back to moving IT! AerobicsYou are so close to getting to normal that this will really help kick start your weight loss.  Jello legs are a beautiful thing!!!

I said "No" to my lunch and instead of getting a vendor machine Ramen Noodle soup, I ate veggies instead!   Yay me!

Vendor machine Ramen Noodle soup? Gagging  Thank God you decided not to blow off Atkins!  There is enough sodium in those things to make you gain enough weight to make you cry.  Vegetables are your friends!

Wow, you done great! I do NOT think I coulda escaped that gauntlet - it woulda been, oh maybe just one cup of no sugar stuff...

My proud? I shut my mouth in the presence of two office people (who i do love in non-election years LOL) when they started up with their Not My Politics stuff. well kind of...one e-mailed me later to ask if I was mad. Hard to hide my true feelings, i guess.

Hah, I slapped her harder with my words so it would hurt more.  I told her, "You know, your're not getting any younger and that metabolism ain't gonna last forever!"  Heffa stuck her green tongue out at me.

Gauntlet...I LOVE that!  But if I'm off of Atkins these days, I pay for it in weight gain so it would have been too expensive.  I'm not getting any younger, yanno? Cool 

I personally think talking politics should be banned from the office....maybe even the PLANET!  Good work not beating anybody down!

I exercised at home for 16 minutes, then went to the gym in the evening and exercised for 20 minutes. Plus I stayed on plan all day.
