Medifast
Hi there,
I think it is a good solid plan. I did it a year ago and lost ten pounds in ten days but I couldn't stick with because of hunger. I never stick with anything, hence this if why I am researching WLS on OH! lol But, I know people are successful on it and it is not that expensive comparatively speaking. The soups and shakes taste pretty good I guess. I did have a really bad experience on their forum. It was soooo negative and their were lots of "cyber bullies". I couldn't take it. Anyway, best of luck to you.

Really just depends on what you want to do and if you think you can adjust AFTER you get to maintenance alright. On medifast losing is the easy part, maintaining is extremely hard because your so use to drinking your shakes.
I was on it and lost a hundred pounds. But I didn't eat a meal, all my meals I drank shakes. I don't recommend this in the least. I know now they have the five and one plan where you eat a lean and green at the end of the day, and I actually think that sounds great. Just be prepared for just major adjustments and rocky days ahead of ya in the near future. Just make sure you eat the one meal a day and you should be fine.
Good luck!
I've done well with it over the summer, but need to change up to more fruit and vegs for a while. I like it quite a bit - it is so convenient for me. I did wonder about transitioning back to "real food", but I'm finding out sooner than later. I want to give my body a chance to rest a bit - doing sort of a LA Weight Loss sort of plan, then will resume the Medifast or something like it.
