How much can you eat?
I am a little concerned; I’m 3 weeks post op and feel like I can eat way to much. I can eat two eggs no problem or to cups of jello pudding. Started eating refried beans today and ate the whole cup. It was from taco bell so you get the size idea. I was just wondering if any one else had the same experience.
You are supposed to eat measured amounts. Your pouch is about 2 ounces at first. Your nerves have not yet healed, so yes, you CAN eat past it, because you won't feel it when you're stretching the hell out of it! Your body can't judge fullness or pain or anything else until it's fully healed.
Stop it, NOW, before you hurt yourself. Eat what you are supposed to-- in the amount you are supposed to. Call your surgeon or nutritionist if you don't know what that is.
