So... I got lazy on Friday and didn't walk on my treadmill. Last week, I only walked twice (Monday & Wednesday). Some how, I lost 1.8 pounds. And I broke out of the 280's and hit 279!! This is big for me because I remember, when I was in 10th grade (so 15 years old), I went to WW with my friend and her Mom, and I weighed in there are 276 and change. So I'm only 3 pounds fatter than I was when I was 15. I'm seriously motivated now. I hope to god my weight keeps moving. I don't know how much more of this plateauing I can stand and I am definitely not strong enough to do a fat fast like Lori's doing.
And by the way - POST YOUR DAILY EATS!!! No one seems to be posting lately and I want to see how you guys do! It helps me to watch what you guys stuff in your faces and I think I'm not the only one it helps!!

I'm telling you, these people are getting serious about their diets because you and Ruth are the only ones who ate yesterday!
And as for Lori's fat fast...you don't have to be strong for that...you have to be 'special' kind of CRAZEE!!! I know because I've done several. But it does work, so it's all good.

I'd love to hear anything you can tell me about your fat fast. I'm throwing ketones BIG time.. but no lighter for it. I doubt the calories (90) in two servings of oscar meyer shaved turkey did any harm. I'd hate to have to be of the mindset that if I go over 1000 calories that this isn't going to work.
I did an hour at the gym so far today.. 1 hour of physical therapy too. Something's gotta give.
NO.. NO no nononononnonono .. you don't need my silly fat fast.. save that for absolute desperation... it doesn't take strength.. it takes being BONKERS! LOL But I'm allowed to be bonkers after trying to maintain for 45 years! :)
This weight loss is going to be 90% diet.. so don't beat yourself up about exercise. I recommend it for many reasons.. not just calorie burning. First and foremost.. the emotional lift I get from it is worth it.
Today's eats:
m1. 2 cups of coffee w/heavy cream and splenda
m2. 1 oz ground beef and 1 egg yolk
m3. 2 oz cream cheese
m4. 2 cups of coffee
m5. 3 oz tuna w/1 tbsp mayo
I didn't do well on it yesterday.. I hope I hang better today.
I ended up eating some turkey with mayo late at night and the scale is up to 210 right now.
Go you! I'm so happy for you. I wasn't even going to post, but when I read that I just had too. :) Your doing so well, sounds like you found what works for you!
Just letting you guys no....it snowed yesterday..whaa It's gone now, but man ....this sucks!!!! Everyone in town must of been in the same isle as me looking at snow boots and snow pants for the kids. Snow is here! It was even really icy this morning...need to work on hubby to move!

I am still paying for WW, but just messing around with a few ideas in my head. I gained about six pounds a while back, but I've lost it again within the past week or two.
I've really been trying to pay more attention to my head than my stomach lately. Although I have to admit it's been very hard for me to do. I've been looking at it in a different approach with "why" I eat nonstop, or bad..ect., than being on a "diet". I think that is where my problem is most of the time. I want to get some books on it, so anyone know of any GOOD books about the mind set on this, I would love to hear what they are.
I'm a BIG time binger and closet eater, and being on a "diet" is causing me to binge quite often. Not only that, but my grocery bill has sky rocketed. I know..sounds weird, but I'm trying to work through this, because I've realized I've been on here a YEAR and haven't lost anything. Only yo yoed ten pounds before hitting another binge. Time to look at it from another angle....ANY angle.

Most of a 1 ltr reg dr pepper
2-4oz milk
Exercise:2/3 mile walking
Taco soup
1 can pinto beans
1 can black beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can corn
1 can rotel tomatoes or a like kind
1 can diced tomatoes
1# ground beef
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 pkg onion soup mix
The only thing I drained was the corn and I added some cheese and sour cream. My kids LOVED it!
