The Immaculate Conception, eh? Same thing happened to my friends daughter! 
She was bragging on the fact that her daughter was still a virgin and when I went to pick her up from college and she was puking up her guts the whole way home from an alleged "hangover", I'm thinking to masself, this li'l virgin is pregnant. But it happens in the best of families.
I don't know the laws where you are, but in Ms., grandparents only have rights if they go to court for them. And even then, if you want, they can be supervised. I hope it all goes well for you,

Well it sounds like, while the other grandma really wants to be a grandma, she's willing to abide by her son's decision should he decide to abandon his responsibility. She's encouraging him to buck up, however.
We agreed to wait until the baby is a few weeks old to firm any legal decisions up.
I doubt they'd take it to court, but I'm going to get legal help lined up just in case.
This other grandma is such a sweetheart. I would like to co-gramma with her. We'll see how it all plays out.
