Scared To do this
The word that jumps out at me here is "doubt".
I KNOW what you're saying. I DOUBTED I could do it too, which is the only thing that held me back when I realized that surgery just was not in my world. (I'm allergic to pain).. lol
A year later, I'm down over 100 lbs and sweetie, if I can do it I KNOW you can, but you have to start somewhere..... a plan of action.
I'm not going to wish you luck.. this isn't going to be luck.. it's going to be your strength of will that takes you through this!!!!!!

Hey Jennifer,
1.) get labs run - check thyroid, fasting insluin, C reactive protien, and Cholesterol
2.) Educate yourself on what your lab results really mean to your health in the long haul, and research ways to reverse the damage
3.) move forward accordingly with an eating plan that is realistic and good for your body
4.) Look for support.. either here, or in "real life"
5.) Educate yourself on the benfits of whole foods vs. processed foods
6.) Kick artificail sweeteners out of your life, they do more harn than good. Its a slow process, you dont have to go cold turkey, just eb aware of what you bring into your house.
7.) Drink water, water and more water
8.) If you dont go to a gym, go for a walk every night after dinner... 30 minutes - Pick up a great book on tape, or throw on your ipod, or walkman, or whatever, and get your hear tmoving

You can do it, and you are not alone, becuase you have frineds on this board who care about you, no matter how long or short we have known one another, we are all in the same battle toots!
