Hi kids!

Thanks for keeping me sane through this past weekend.

I did get to spend a little time with my child... when I bribed her to.  I finally said "Why are you being like this.. you know I'm only here for a couple of days... you can't have dinner with me?"  I hate throwing on the guilt... but.. it's a 10 hour drive.. not like I can do it every week!

I had high hopes for a semi-fab weekend...  it seems the highlight of it was laying on the beach for a couple of hours.

Glad you made it home safe & sound. Give the kiddo some space...they can get so wrapped up sometimes! Don't take that personal!!!!

I got her to be with me the last night by saying 'gee.. I thought we could have dinner and I have a little money here for ya".  OH YEA.. she was there for a quick c note!

The good news is..  don't laugh.. I am though..
I got home .. got on the scale and weighed at 222.
I took a lasix.. peed for about 3 hours.. and now down to 215.4

Yea.. I can't wait to see these test results!  LOL

Ha, why is it we can't wait to get away and then we are so happy to be home?  For me it's usually when I'm so bloated from eating crap that I can't wait to get home and get back to my routine.  Glad you're back!

It's the drive for me now.  I used to fly all the time from Fl to NJ and back.. but since I moved to the middle in SC...  I started driving.

I dunno.. sometimes that hotel bed feels so good, but I just couldn't sleep.  The room was either too cold or too hot.. oh.. and my KEY kept screwing up so I was back and forth to the desk to have them mess with the magnetic strip.  Hey.. I should have got a free night out of that one!

The house smelled bad when I got in.. and I wasn't around smoking... cough cough.  Jon said he didn't have the air on or the windows opened the whole time. EGADS...
