What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud?

I'm proud that I've been getting all of my water in!  Finally.  So I was having this conversation with masself,  and I got to thinking about the old days when I was addicted to Pepsi.  I had NO problem with drinking at least a two liter a day, so one would think this would be easier for me.  But Holly came up with a brilliant idea to go to WW and buy a mug that holds just the right amount of water....no counting involved.    Since I don't know where the WW go to meeting place is, I'm going to get my friend Dora to get me one if she'll go back there.  She was the worst dieter in the history of the organization.  Like I told Holly, her idea of a diet is to have more liposuction!

Oh, and if anyone is interested, the Atkins website is going to start a new online class that is free.  All you have to do is sign up and you get to chat with all of the know it alls.  Class starts August 1st.

Sounds like you got tha****er thang just goin' on!  I have hardly had any in a couple of days and can't wait until I get home to start hitting it again.

I did manage to get to my old hairdresser yesterday morning.

I never made it out to dinner last night

had three drinks and I'm paying for it today.. ok... I'm proud I didn't get totally trashed and stupid.

Well I'm working the water thing, but it's a daily battle for me so let's just say I'm aware of my issues and I'm trying.  But I do feel so much better when I get it in so one would think that I would love it, no?

Kind of like I feel about exercise.  I feel better when I do it, I just don't love that either!  But it's cuz my endorphins don't work, damnit.  Can you BUY endorphins?  Maybe hiring a good lookin' trainer would produce the same results!  

So you didn't get trashed...with your diabetes that was probably a good call on your part.  But I hope you at least had fun. 

I'll lend you some of MY endorphins.. but stay away from my hormones.....  they could be dangerous!

Yea... I had to have a couple of ****tails.  We kinda had some fun but nothing to write home about.  No.. the fat lady didn't sing.. but I didn't expect to.  One day I'll meet someone who's on a lateral playing field and things will be ok.... but.. no more pretty boys..and certainly never one I've known for so long.

So what does it feel like to have endorphins?  I've heard that it feels like a natural high and makes exercise addictive.  For those of us without them, it just makes exercise a CHORE!!!

Girl, with our EVIL hormones, if they were ever to get stuck together, we'd turn into one of those giant monstas rolling around getting bigger and bigger with fluid retention!  We wouldn't be the blob, we'd be the 'Tidal Wave'.  

So if he wasn't the perfect pretty boy for you, we'll just have to wait until the next one comes along.  Find the biggest guy at the gym, and then work him til he's the right pretty boy for you!  I'm just sayin'.

Endorphins really help with the pain...  if I work hard.. pushing past the pain...  after about 45 minutes the endorphins kick in and it helps me go further.. but at the beginning.. it IS a chore.

OOH.. I was laying on the beach yesterday and as usual, there were dolphins out there playing and the tourists were really going wild over these things.  I don't blame them, they are so adorable.   LOL  The first time I saw one, I thought it was a shark and grabbed my kid out of the 2" of water she was standing in. .. lol

Two inches of water?  Those weren't dolphins, they were minnows!

LOL.. no.. my brother and I were on the beach.. and she was playing by the water...  we looked out and saw the fin and I never RAN SO FRIGGIN' FAST on a beach!!
