 I'm new. I've played around with the idea of weight loss surgery,  but am still trying to lose weight by dieting. So far I've lost 14 pounds but need to lose a lot more. It's haaaard!

Welcome aboard! 

It sure is hard... isn't it.. but I think you'll find the folks here very supportive.  None of us are perfect, and we can all relate.

I hope you'll be as happy here as I have been!

Congratulations on the 14 pounds lost.  Yes it is hard!  I got denied for surgery but had such good results with WW that after the denial and my spinal procedure I decided to go back to WW so I will be heading back there on  Tuesday.  What program are you on? Keep going strong. See you here on the boards.

Glad that you found us too!! And yeah it is hard..so easy to get this way but yet hard to lose it! But nothing in life that we want is easy! We have to work hard for what we want!! Dont give up!! 14lbs is great...thats a good start..take baby steps..set the mini goals and go for those..dont look at it all together!! :)

Welcome to the non-op board, Jill!  Congrats on losing 14 pounds!  Just take it one day or one meal at a time and when you screw up, let it go and get back on track at the next meal.  Pretty soon, that 14 pounds will turn into 20 pounds and then 50 pounds, etc.
There's lots of fun and support here.

Junebug! Cute handle. I was raised in June bug country! Can't say they were that cute, but the name for some reason evoked warm fuzzy to me.
