MIA- due to back procedure
I'd like to go back to WW on Tuesday morning since I have off from work. Just kind of wondering what type of support to ask for and what you offer to each other. How many of you are on WW and how are you doing? Are you journalling what you eat and are you accountable to anyone else here on the forum? I hope to be able to make lots of new friends here as I am alone on this journey.

I don't know nuthin' bout WW, so I'm pretty useless, I just wanted to wish you well on your journey,
Mary
The procedure I had done was not true back surgery like it sound like your sister had. I had a radiofrequency neurotomy which is a cutting of 4 nerves in my spine. It was done as an outpatient and laposcopically so all I had was 4 bandaids. I went in at 1:45 pm and was able to drinve myself home by 7 pm. I still have the bulging and herniated discs as they wouldn't do that kind of surgery on me at my weight but I don't have the pain assocaited with the problems.
What porgram are you following? Are you seeing good results.

Ya drove yasself home??? You are definitely a better woman than I am!
You made me laugh. Am I seeing good results. I'm a walking good/bad advertisement for Atkins. I've lost 129 pounds, but due to severe PCOS...it took me SIX years. With my issues and insulin resistance, it was more of a lose three, gain one or two situation and lots of exercise. Another weird thing, my plastic surgeon cut off over thirty pounds of skin and fat and that never showed up on the scale. More fuzzy PS math that doesn't add up.
But the key to all of this is to start the journey, and then hold on by the skin of your teeth to stay on the road. Sometimes, you may skid off the path, but just get back on and keep going. Good thing this is metaphorical or I'd have skid marks all over me!!!

I was hoping for success to and even though it has only been a few days I am very pleased with the change. I will be heading back to Curves again on Tuesday and that will really be the true test. If I can do the whole circuit without the canes and without the pain I will be one happy camper.
