What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud?

You sound like a girl from the Plastic Surgery Board.  Once she had her boobs lifted and implants put in, and all of the other skin removed from her weight loss, she raised her standards and refused to date guys who weren't up to them.  Geesh, how soon we become uppity, no?  I say in your case, it's about time your brain started to catch up with the new way your body looks.  You may have a li'l fluid retention, but youse a hard body!

I think "standards" was the wrong term....

To me.. the hard bodies are fun to look at, but that's about it... and I've always been that way...  I was that way at a size 7, I was that way at a ... (oh..gawd.. I don't even know what size I was...  a 3x maybe)?

The more I think about it, the more I realize that going out while I'm there is out of the question....  I have no clue what I'll weigh by Friday...  and buying something to wear might prove nothing more than a lesson on futility as there's a good chance it won't fit by the weekend.

Yes... I hope the doc cares.... cause if he doesn't, he's going to see something he's never seen from me in almost 20 years... a major hissy fit!

Somehow, I get the feeling that guys who are just 'friends with benefits' don't give a damn about a little water weight...know what I mean?  And since you aren't committed to trying to impress him, who cares what you WEAR?  Woman, just do the damn thing!

And if that doc doesn't care, I'm sending the posse' after his ignut A$$!  We've had enough and we ain't gonna take it anymore!  Either fix you or find someone else who can.

I know everyone is sick to death of hearing it, and I sure as hell am sick to freakin' death of complaining about it.

All this wasted time... I could have been down to 160 lbs by now!

No.. I doubt the boytoy gives a crap.... but I'm embarassed of myself.... and I'd feel a hell of a lot more comfortable being able to wear something which tastefully covers everything i don't want seen...

Hell.. my idea of this weekend being perfect is my kid packing her stuff in her little PT and coming home, the doc getting a light bulb going off over his head regarding my gaining 10 lbs in 2 days.. 17 lbs in a week.. and taking 2 months to dump it....  and

ONE HELL OF A DAY AT THE BEACH SWIMMING IN THE GULF with my little IPOD player, a towel and a cooler full of water 1/2 mile down caspersens where NO one is around!  ;)   oh gawd I hope there's no red tide!!

I have busted my butt big time the last two days painting.   Which subsequently hasn't left me much time to eat! 

It will be a miracle if I can move tomorrow.   I woke up a little sore this morning, but today... after lugging around a 5 gallon bucket of paint up and down the scaffold....  I can barely move NOW.  Lord help me in the morning LOL

I am proud though, that I've concured such a monumental job all by myself :)

Don't you just love that feeling of accomplishment you get when you've finished a big project that you did a great job on?  Go bathe in some Motrin.  Under those kinds of cir****tances...it's your best friend right now!

What color did you paint what you painted?

Well, I have a deep burgandy accent wall and all the other walls (still have a few to do) are a deep khaki color.   I was going to do the kitchen in a slate green, but I'm not sure.  The Khaki is a lot darker than I anticipated, so I may not want to go dark in the kitchen.   Good ol Alaska makes you nervous going dark with any colors.  

I'll paint the rest of the house and then make a decision about the kitchen.   I just couldn't take the contractor white anymore!
