Ok.. my food completely changed..

Instead of the stead (I got a little paranoid about it), I made a bowl consisting of 2 servings of oscar meyer shaved turkey (45 cal per serving), 1/2 small tomato/ 1/4 onion and a little more than a tsp of mayo.

Then kept eating all night!  I snitched a little more turkey, had a couple of sf jello with sf whipped cream... and I don't remember what else but I felt like I was in and out of the fridge all night.

I think it was that darned pain killer giving me the munchies and it showed up on the scale this morning as 212.  Wow... down to just under 206 and back up to 212 in a matter of days.

Pain is not so bad this morning... so I'm gonna get a good cardio in without 'em and take one before Andrew tomorrow so that work out isn't a waste.

Andrew also suggest Iso Lean protein drink... but  I think the fats are the better way to go... more LEAN protein and just cook everything with olive oil (which I do already).  Gonna make a food plan and do that for a week.

PS..I bought four $2 scratch offs out of boredom yesterday and won $110.... YAY!  Now I'm not afraid of the $4.17 a gallon gas I need today!  LMAO

You guys who are doing the high fat thing - do your coaches and/or books give any preference between which fats? I know that there are good fats that ship the bad fats off to never-never again land. That's why I put olive oil in my shakes often. But from what Dr. Sears and other experts seem to indicate, and from all I've seen in my research, all fats are not alike. There are fats that really cause damage to you, and are hard for the body to process, causing some internal "rusting out" that you don't notice daily, but that catches up to you.

I'm just curious.

Fats I use ..

Butter (not too much.. mostly for flavor)
olive oil
coconut oil
canola oil

Animal fats... I'm not good with keeping fat on steak and I have a tendency to buy leaner cuts...  but I use the chicken skin, turkey skin (gotta crisp it up to get it down).
Fat from eggs
bacon

Mom was a bad girl on Tuesday. Just so you know.

Morning: Isa Lean shake, vanilla, with IsaFruits and Greens, extra whey protein, & soluble fiber.

Hit the gym and did 30 minutes on the elliptical/climber thing while watching a horrible violent movie. Hmm. Then did weights and stretched.

Snack! (Here's the first bad part) Ate most of the bag of white cheddar popcorn (almost typed poopcorn, highly appropriate) This is bad, ladies, and I feel naughty. Each serving has 160 calories, and although I don't COUNT calories, I do like to make them count and this wasn't nutritious at ALL.

Lunch: IsaLean chocolate shake made extra thick with less water and more ice. Tasted just like a Wendy's frosty, and mama was happy

Snack? Oh, yeah, an apple (yay me)

All freakin' day long I cleaned and moved appliances. I was on a "stove mission" .  Our store sells used and new, but we're hurtin' so we aren't buying much new ahead of time, just "on demand". We had 5 used stoves in various degrees of nastiness all lined up and I couldn't stand it anymore. I was scrubbing, rinsing, spraying, and moving those to the test area ALL day. End of day, I was SORE, tired, and very hungry.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Dinner: Large plate of BBQ chicken with two sides (beans and cole slaw) plus this heavy, obviously fat filled corn bread thing.
And Bud Lite. Two of them.

No snack, thankfully. Ha ha.

I realize I probably worked off all the calories I took in, but I'm not happy with yesterday's choices, anyway!

Today: NO popcorn and NO beer!!! Ha ha.

Dude, funny you bring up beer, it was ALL I could do yesterday to not have one with supper last night. Got my package from you, btw! Excited to see how this goes.

I had an okay day food - exercise wise:

30 minutes yoga

1 egg cream with greek yogurt/egg/lemon flavor/nfmilk) (sometimes I add rice bran oil - the New Big Thing out here!)

crappy lunch but i kept it in check at least caloircally:  1 mozz stick + 1/2 c black bean/cilantro side + 2 tortilla chips + 2 tbsp spinach dip + 1 taquito + two bites of quiche

1 hi pr lemonade drink

40 minute wog after work

Supper: 3-5 oz chicken fried steak + 1/2 c mash potatoes + 1/2 c corn

Every time I read "egg cream" it makes me want one. I'm going to have to try that. I know you posted the exact "recipe" once, although it sounds like something you toss together and mix it up with different ingredients. I've heard of the rice bran oil benefits. Sounds pretty good - so far none of the health coaches I tune in to have proclaimed it. :-) I may give it a whirl anyway, and proclaim it myself.

I guess I had those beers because after a particularly ambitious day at the gym, then moving ALL those appliances around and scrubbing the ever living heck out of them, I felt I deserved a treat. Two Bud lites. I was more upset over buying that crap popcorn with powdered cheese. It's everything I preach AGAINST. Ugh.

I know you'll enjoy what you got - although I don't know what that is! I sent you samples of the shakes and our cookie (did I send bars?) but I don't get to snoop into what you order from the company. Let me know if you have any questions.

Ruth
