Hey everyone,

I'm sure that this is somewhere on this board but I can't find it.  :(  I had WLS almost 2 years ago and didn't lose near what I need to lose.  I'm considering Nutri System and wondering what are others experiences with it.  I was on it years ago and lost 25 lbs. but I know that it has changed since then.

Thanks!
Cherri

Hi Cherri
I was on it from Jan 2006 until about  Nov of 2006.  I lost 96 pounds on the program and was really not able to do a great deal of exercise. Some of the food was good others of it were really nasty. It depends on your taste buds and what you are willing to tolerate to lose weight.  I did find that on this program I was not nearly as hungry as other programs I have been on . I had lost my job in 2005 and used my severance pay to pay for the monthly deliveries until my money ran out.  I found I was able to maintain my weight within about 15 pounds for about a year and than I met a chef *****ally was a great cook and I went crazy and gained back about 50 pounds.  There are two message boards that I belonged to and found the on line help to be there when I needed it.

My hubby's aunt bought a boat load of the stuff, tried a little, then sent it to the rear of the cupboard shelf because she said it tasted like re-constituted card board/dog food!!! HA HA HA, that may have just been her take on it. I've never tried it. It would, in theory, make choices easy. But... wow. Hats off to someone who can do that one!
