You know I've already lectured you about breakfast so I won't do that here. And I don't know how anyone does Atkins but it seems to work for lots of folks here. I don't have any sage advice to offer other than eat yo breakfast and drink yo water and eat healthy. If only it were THAT easy, huh?!!

I ate some FREAKIN breakfast this morning!!!!!!!! Ham and egg omelet with cheese and grilled vegetables. I had leftovers for lunch and then blew it for supper. I worked until 8 and had planned to make some soup, but hubby ordered pizza. So, i had several pieces for supper.
I did drink water today too!
So, I am getting better huh!

Well You ARE my kind of girl.
I'm down to my last 20-30 pounds, too. SUCKS...my scale is very stuck at this weight I am at - the lowest one I have been and where I alwasy seem to get stuck. My body loves it here.
Like you, I generally HATE breakfast, but believe in the benefit of getting my metabolism goin for the day. So, that leaves me with bascially protein drinks or a home style egg cream I make every day. I stick to whey protein since soy and estrogen crashing in thei mneopaussal fog I'm in seem to not play well together!
My egg cream: and let's pause here: yes, the damn egg is RAW. Stop being a baby. Or go buy pateurized eggs. I like this because it is animal protein which we assimilate best and way cheaper than protein pdr.
1-2 eggs
1 c nf milk ( I may go to 2% and skip the oil or half&half.shot i put in this)
either 1 tsp rice bran oil OR a shot of half&half.
1-2 tsp unsw cocoa pdr
1-2 pkts spenda
1 tsp cinnamon
1-2 tsp psyllium seeds (this is for fiber)
blend like crazy! suck it back. I take my vitamins with this concoction: fish oil, CLA, a daily, one dose chromium.
Most days this holds me til lunchtime, but i try to eat one more snack before lunch: a high protein drink or bar.
I usually add more water after I dirnk it to get all of the psyllium off the blender bottle.
I am TRYING to do Atkins as I need to get this Mother of All Plateaus broken. cannot seem to get in the induction groove, so it's looking more like South Beach.
Do you have a slamming job? I do, and in my case, carrying the bariatric foods, ready to eat stuff has saved my butt. This is one reason why Atkins is difficult for me - it is not real portable, takes lots of planning.
