Janina, girl I ain't gonna tell nobody what they can and can't eat, but if you're on Atkins Induction, you are eating a lot of foods that are not allowed on Induction.  So if you are no longer losing weight, I would take a look at www.atkins.com and you can read the list of what you can have on Induction.  There are even certain Atkins products that you aren't allowed for the first two weeks.  Just because you are allowed 20 carbs a day doesn't mean that they can contain any ingredients and come up to 20 carbs.  Cane sugar and wafers are the same as eating sugar as far as the way your body metabolizes it.  And the only thing allowed in coffee is Heavy whipping cream or in an emergency, half and half.  Dressings are limited to not more than 2 carbs per serving with no added sugar.  And as for sugar, you have to read the labels for hidden sugars.  Other names for sugar are maltose, dextrose, maltodextrin, corn syrup, corn syrup solids, cornstarch...you get my drift.  So you can't eat anything with this in it no matter how low carb they are.  Not all carbs are created equal when it comes to affecting your blood sugar.

I'm not trying to tell you what to eat, I just don't want to see you trying so hard and thinking Atkins doesn't work.  It works great when you follow the plan to the tee.  I know cuz without it, I'd still weight 320 pounds!

a fair amount of peeps stall on the Atkins after an intial loss. Don't trip, Neen! Hang tough.

If anything, take one day of "normal eats" without pigging out, just normal amounts, then go back on just to eff with your metabolizm!

My day so far:

45 minute wog after 12 hours of sleep!!!!

trying for induction level, but I am trying!

1 egg cream (1 c nf milk + 1 egg + 1 tsp rice bran oil + 2 tbsp cocoa + 2 pkts splenda + 1 tsp cinn + 1 tsp psyllium) (5 carbs)

2 tsp pb on wasa crackers + 1 c hi pro soup + 2 bell pepper strips (2 carbs)

1 svg cleochatra pizza (zuke crust  w/ lots of mozz/alfredo sauce/baked chicken, more cheese on top/fresh tomato slices. (? carbs)

1 hi pro high fat bar (2 carbs)

1 hi pro lemonade (0 carbs)

tonight: grilled meat + salad

B:  1 egg, 3 white omelet with shredded mozzarella
      1 Tbsp RS ketchup
      2 slices turkey bacon
S:  Atkins shake
L:  3oz turkey, 2 slices RF provolone
      1/2 can french style green beans
S:  2 Baby bella cheese
D:  5oz tilapia sauteed in balsamic vinagarette
      mixed veggies cooked in little EVOO....yellow squash, onions, mushrooms, red pepper
      salad with romaine, 2 sliced strawberries, red onion, slivered almonds
      spray dressing
S:  SF jello with Reddi Whip

What did I eat today?

Well, can you guess what I had for breakfast???????? ha ha

B: IsaLean shake with IsaFruits and Isagenix Greens, Fiber Pro and a scoop of extra unflavored protein.

S: Isa Delight chocolate OH MY GOSH like the big "O" kinda delicious and then I just had to go to Starbucks for a chai latte, non fat... yum
 
L: IsaLean shake, chocolate this time, with Isagenix greens (Guess it's easy being green today)

S: None just tons and tons and tons of water

D: Good question. Daughter wants potato soup so I will make that for her with roasted chicken to add. Also spinach.... so what I'll do is have the roasted chicken with just a little cream of potato soup poured over it with fresh spinach Hmm. It's almost 6pm so it's about time to act on that one.
