YAY ME.. YAY ME!!
What an exciting day...
First.. my accountant has heard back from the state and both of my chosen business names are being used.. although I didn't find them when I did my search. I'm thrilled I didn't go ahead and get business cards and stationary and prepare a mailer! YA... That would have been a BAD thing. So I have an FEIN on a corporation that's not incorpated.. LOL (only me).
Ok.. did more than I had planned at the gym, but I just had to. Sitting around the house made me stiff.. eeps. I loved the assisted chin ups today.. even though the machine looks like some medevil bondage device, it was fun to climb up on it.
Went shopping for the two most important items in my life: Tampons and AA Batteries.
Got on the scale this afternoon and I don't care if it's fake.. IT'S MINE FOR TODAY!

Don't ever get discouraged about my b*tching and moaning.. please...
First... I'm a diabetic who is not taking meds and the blood sugar spikes hold me back. I retain 10 and 20 lbs of fluid at a time and it hangs on and hangs on until I guess it just spills over.. and that's what we're seeing here.. a drop in fluid retention. That's not the diet.. that's years of glucose running between 250 and 500. I go through bouts of depression when I just don't take care of myself. I might not eat for a couple of days... or I'll eat something really off just to spite myself. I don't take my vitamins or drink water. In fact.. those times are so bleak I can barely remember anything I do. THAT's a BIG no no! Ya gotta keep up with the water and YOU HAVE TO FEED!
I've tried everything imaginable to lose weight and even though I hung on through feeling like I was starving.. I've either gained, stayed the same or lost VERY little. This is the first time I'm rarely, if ever hungry. If this is working for me and I'm so half-assed with it... I truly believe it'll work for most people.
Don't get discouraged.. just remember that low carbers don't lose like we expect. It's not always a consistent loss, and sometimes we go through fluid ups (like I did the third week with the 5 lbs), but it all averages out...

Hey Janina...I hear you Sister about staying on this Stooopid Diet. Sometimes I want some French bread so bad I can't stand it, just to have some variety. But then I see what others eat on their diets and they don't have a lot of variety either. So such is our existence, dealing with eating healthy. It ain't easy even if you're on an all cake and ice cream diet! So hang in there and keep the faith. All diets are stooopid, we just have to remember why we're doing this. Our stoopid health!
