Ok, someone told me I was posting in the wrong forum, this IS the non -surgical isn't it?
I'll give you my story, but not on here, as what I used to carve the weight off became my passion and therefore my business. We're not here for that, and I understand that. I like reading about what everyone has for their meals, to tell you the truth.
Also, when I was at the Bandster Bash last year, I had released the same amount of weight as one of the patients in exactly the same amount of time, and she actually started crying because she'd had surgery and I was sucking down pink shakes (the ladies all called my samples the pink shakes).
I've been at an okay weight (135 lbs at 5 ft 7 1/2 and 50 years old) for two years now. My buddy Rodney *****leased 110lbs did it at the same time I did, so he's also at a 2 year "keep it off" victory. NO surgery, no drugs. Just feed the body well and get rid of poisons that help you stay fat. We have both done extensive research since our success to back up what we obviously know works. If you look at Rod, you can't exactly say anything like "Oh that stuff doesn't work". Gosh - he's not the man he used to be!!!! In answer to your question abou****ching WLS people lose more rapidly- I was pretty happy with 15 pounds in 11 days! (33 kilos/11 days)
I'll PM you my info, and you can contact me at will if you want the "skinny"!!!
Ruthie
Thanks Ruthie, my mom goes by that too :) I always thought my name sounded like a stripper...Chloe Rose .....I guess if I ever decide to get a pole in the bedroom I might have to use it for a stage name! Well I would love to hear the skinny...always open to new and/or different ways to give myself a boost. Although I have tried shakes, all kinds, and I have never ever been able to do them. I am always starving. Medifast, I had to send back...can't do powders either. But they are handy in a pinch. But by about the evening I am soooo ravenous that I start to nibble on my arm!!!!! Ok I am about 5'8" the last time I was 135 I looked like a famine victim...honestly. When I was about 190 I was a fit size 12...and I am not a big boned gal either...for me 160-170 I'd be looking a bit ragged around the edges...its so funny how body types are. No one even comes close to guessing my weight....usually off by at least 80 pounds. My hubby was shocked when we met, I think I was about 168 and was in a size ten. I guess I am thankful for that little gift, cause a friend of mine who had the lapband was about 5 foot even and 300 pounds at the time and she was twice the width as I was...but I still have to lose the weight, I just carry it well HAHA
Hey dont feel badly, I tend to write BOOKS always..something I have to really watch, maybe this site will help me lol I am a writer, and I type very quickly (not always accurately :) and I know my friends will see a 'newsy' email from me...and groan LOL Oh Lord, War & Peace...again.
Wow, body types do vary. I met someone on here who said she wore a size 0 at 130 or so pounds. I was like... REALLY???? WOW. I'm in a size 8 at 135 but can wear size 10 as well. If I get below 130 I start looking ghostly. At 160 I could NOT fit into my 12s very well. Hmmm. I'm just happy to feel healthy and have energy. The numbers on the scale aren't as important any more, although I watch them just to keep my routine in check. You can see in my recent photos that I'm a healthy weight and not a stringy old lady weight. I even sport a little belly in the shots with Rod and the gang in Vegas. I think it's cute, which is kinda funny.
And I took one comment of yours and flipped it (brain disorder) into you being in Australia currently - so please disregard that.
I thought I was the only one who published daily E-books to my friends. That's awesome!!!!! I love to write, and plan to write a book of short stories one day.
Lots of people who've tried "other" shake type products are shocked that mine make you feel so satisfied. Now that I've done the homework I understand why.
Anyway - write on, girl.
