Ok, someone told me I was posting in the wrong forum, this IS the non -surgical isn't it?
I have opted to not have surgery after LOTS of soul-searching for a long long time and was happy to find a non-surgical forum, and have posted a few times since joining...but someone told me I was mistaken and not on the right forum...I keep clicking down the forums part and the top and scrolling down to Non-surgical..and keep getting this...so rather than upsetting someone who doesn't seem thrilled I am posting and seeking support without surgery, could some one please let me know if I am indeed in the right place? lol...Lost in Maryland :)

Welcome to the non-op board! Yes, you are in the right place. We don't really care if you have or have not had surgery or if you're planning to have surgery or whatever - we're here to support each other through weight loss and maintenance. It's a great group of folks who are very supportive and encouraging and fun.
Thanks Lori.....oh I tried the stand on your head while eating wheat diet too.......found out I was allergic....not to the wheat, but the standing on the head part... my plans of a best-selling book just zoomed down the drain...oh the Humanity!!!
...drat!! Could have used the $$ from my book too....now just broke...... spent it all on wheat!

The ass is a wonderful piece of equipment when ya think about it. It takes an awful lot of abuse and gets the least credit!
Whether we're shakin' it or fallin' on it.....just remember.. it's not the size of the ass but what's IN IT that counts! (OOOOOOH TMI) LOL
Personally... I liked my ass better at 300 lbs. All of that visceral fat was keeping it nice and firm.. Now I feel like I have an extra ass hanging on the back of my thighs and no matter HOW much I work it, it's soft and squishy. There's a rock under all that squishiness, but the squishy is still there!

hey kim!! I thought I was in the right place!!!!! I'm pretty savvy w/pc's lol so after she said it wasn't the right place but the Main forum or something....I went and double-checked...plus all the responses were from people telling me about their surgury which is cool and helpful dealing with my friends who've had WLS...but I was thinking....rawroh...I am in the wrong forum I guess.... I was hoping to also get some feedback from non-surgical aliens too :) But hey, you're so right....we all are here to learn and help etc. Thank youuuuuuuu Kim:)
Hey Goddess - you've reached the right forum. There are a few of us who have had surgery, but still frequent this board. I got hooked when I was losing weight the non-surgical way for pre-op reasons, and fell in love with the regulars on this board. After surgery, I did wander on to the Lap-Band board, but here shall always be my home.
We'll be more than happy to help you in anyway we can!

thank Janina, Lori and all...I am feeling a kinship here already....and well, if I didn't have a sense of humor I shudder to think how much bigger I would be you know? and yes I've heard it all about obese people being the class clowns, well I was a goofball when I was a 'normal' :) size...so I'm afriad there's no hope for me in that aspect!
Gotta love C.Lauper btw :) and yeah, we gotta have some fun along the way..on my fridge right now are two sayings 'Become the Change you Want to Be' and "life is too important to be taken Seriously' ok ok, a bit of a contradiction? but ya laugh a little ya cry a little right? Heck I cried so hard during the Olympics I thought the men in little white jackets would pull up to the front door! But nothin like watching a muscled Michael Phelps or one of those underaged gymnists to keep you pushing on your exercise bike!!!! Now all I am seeing again are those fast food commercials and I am thinking, Hmmmm how much more do I have to pedal to work off one fry? Not worth it is it...arghhhhhh :)
