Fluid up.. ignore it and keep going.
I lost like 15 lbs in my first 2 weeks, then gained 5. From what I've read, this is what I understand. The fat cell drains and is sort of traumatized. Fluid fills the fat cells back up until the body gets the idea that it's ok not to have a nice full, plump fat cell. Then we get a woooooooooosh.... (pee our brains out), and the weight comes back down plus some.
JUST KEEP DOIN' THE DO JANINA!! All is well!! :)
B. breakfast beef patty and 1 fried egg
l. 2 slices of turkey with 2 slices of provolone
s. 1 slice of beast with 1 slice of provolone and 3 black olives
d. a split chicken breast w/garlic and oregano
I woooooshed big time... to the tune of almost 10 lbs AMEN.. I was seriously plumpin' out.
:singing: OH WHAT A RELIEEEEEEEEF IT IS!

Hey Janina!!!
How are you?
Atkins ALWAYS works like a charm. If you refer to Dr. A's older books and the "induction phase" where you are limited to 20 carbs, you will lose like "crazy'. The thing is forget the bars, wafers, breads, dough even if they say "low-carb". If you can try it "old-style".
I'm still doing WW (since Feb) and combined with a good working band, it has been fabulous. I am down a total of 70lbs and a size 12 clothing. I can eat and I can eat well but my band is working the best it ever has. I think for people like us (the really tough cases ), we have to keep ourselves involved in diet and exercise - like work in the field as a personal trainer, nutritionist, group leader/receptionist at WW or something like it just anything in the arena that would help us to get off and keep off our weight.
You've done fantastic. When I exhaust Flex, I will try CORE then Atkins Induction to jump start loss again if need be. I think we have to keep throwing our bodies curves to get where we need to be - mix it up a bit!
Best,
Leila
