OT ~ Where Would You Live?
Today, I was talking to my neighbors about the storm and we were talking about where you could live to be safe from the elements. The conclusion...no where!
That being beside the point, if money were no object and you could take your family with you, where would you live. I'd have to find some place where it's not too cold and not too hot. But where exactly is this utopia?

Yes, I believe he still has a house there. I've never seen him while I was in town but my BFF, who has a house there and visits all the time, has seen Clint Eastwood, Doris Day, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, and P Diddy or Puff Daddy or whatever his name is. Of course she didn't recognize him but her 8 year old son did. LOL
What I like about Carmel is that it's so laid back and anyone can be anonymous. Everyone tells me that if I lived there, I'd get bored but how could someone get bored of walking to the beach, watching and listening to the waves, watching gorgeous sunsets, hiking, biking, and NEVER sweating?!

Yep, I've already scouted out where I want to live and it will be walking distance to the beach. There's a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house practically in the ocean that I REALLY REALLY want but many people would have to die and leave me all their $$ for that to happen...and that ain't gonna happen. Besides, the house will eventually fall into the ocean, probably.
BTW, the only thing I DON'T like about Carmel is the law prohibiting the wearing of stilettos in town. What kind of crap is that?! I never knew that until I'd already fallen in love.

No tellin'! Last I heard, the house was $15,000,000 last time it was sold so the insurance has to be unbelievably expensive.
I wear my stilettos but I make sure not to step on the grass so as not to damage the beauty of the place. I think that's why the law was implemented....either that or they wanted to enforce "casual" and "laid back". I'll be counting on you and Trix to bail me out.
