Small acts!
Small steps are the key Neece. You're so right.
The small acts I did today:
* took a short but quick walk in my lunch break with a work colleague.
* drank a BIG glass of water before eating
* got my butt on the exercise bike
* chose a small instead of a larger tub of yoghurt
* made myself walk out of the kitchen when I felt the nibble monster knocking
* made up HUGE serves of lots of different veggies to eat with a smaller serve of meat
* positive affirmationed to myself "I am back on track, feeling healthy and good about it"

Those are amazing "small acts" that will lead you to your desired outcome! You should be very proud of yourself!
When I was losing weight I sometimes had a glass of crushed ice instead of a snack. I know that's not great for your teeth, but I love crushed ice.
Simple disciplines, repeated over time, will have the compounded effect of achieving your goals. I believe it with all my heart.
