Not weight related, anyone from OC?

I can understand that. The people around here are pretty much in the same boat. They have to live in an unsafe area and ride the bus in for $7 an hour at Disney. I was hoping to find something to rent for around $1100 a month (in a secure area) in your opinon do you think that is possible??

I'm not sure what prices are like in Newport, I imagine it could be higher the closer to the beach you are.  Where I live in the SF Bay area I pay $1415 a month in rent for a 750sqft 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment in a fairly nice area.  I just did a quick overview of whats available down in that area and looks like a lot of studios and some 1 bedrooms in your price range in newport beach.  I'm not sure what the areas are like down there or what areas are surrounding that could be less expensive and not too far from your work.  If all you need is a 1 bedroom it seems doable to live in newport beach, although for more then that you may need to look further away.

no idea how close this is to Newport Beach, but it is in N. Orange County...

I have been looking on craigslist too, and finding studios at about what your paying for a one bed. I will have 30 days to look around and find something so it should work out. I can't beleive that there isn't something I can get in a safe/clean area.
