What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud?
LOL!
I have been having a period regularly for the past 8 months after years and years of "once in a blue moon"
So here I'm thinking "wow, look at me, I am 46 and my body is getting in better shape!" .......what and idiot!!! I just read the other day that is one of the signs of premenopause. THAT SUCKS!!
I guess once I hit "full blown" status I will have to put up a sticky reminding myself how old I really am (cause in my mind I am only 25, 30 tops).

Enjoy LIFE! we only have one (won!)
Ya know, perimenopause was easier for me because I knew that things could start going whacky. But you think in terms of that time of the month. Menopause is weird cuz you're not expecting a period, but then the PMS sneeks up on you when you're not expecting it!
I know what you mean about how old we really are. Only I wasn't in this great of shape at thirty. I'm enjoying "feeling" like thirty more than I enjoyed "being" thirty!

someone else out there who has had "once in a blue moon" periods LOL. Everytime I've gone to the doctor (with the exception of when I was still on ortho evra, they'd ask me when the last time I had a period was and I'd always says "ummmm.... maybe a couple of months ago?" I recently stopped using ortho evra to see if it would help me lose weight (it isn't by the way), and here I am back to irregular periods once every couple or few months

Have you ever been tested for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome? That's how mine started out. I had irregular periods and then I gained over a hundred pounds in one year. Then I didn't have a period for eighteen months. It sounds like it would be a good idea for you to get tested. To take a test to see if you have the symptons, go to www.soulcysters.com and see what you think.
