What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud?
Right awn, Mary! Yup, that type of discussion has its possible negative outcomes: getting even MORE self-involved and reverting to a lonely fat whiner. Its good effects are far too important to not risk - and so many here are young peeps that I want for them to begin letting things go that stop Personal Progress. I was 30 something before I seriously began sorting and cleaning out my spiritual house.
For me (after much OA, God talks, etc), I eventually did stop allowing myself to blame, flame and play games. I KNOW what is right for me. Whether in my weight gain/food abuse or my life - SO many time I did not listen to the Inner Goddess, My Divine Self and do those things. I let others abuse me and in fact allow ME to Disrespect ME.
To not be able to develop discipline, is, i am certain is directly tied to maturity. If you are immature, of course, it is this , it is that, bt it is never up to me to change it.
I choose to listen to my Divine Self more often.

Neecee, now ya got me scared of reverting to a lonely fat whiner. You so cute!
I love what you said about the inability to develop discipline being linked to immaturity. We need to open up that discussion next! I've got a feeling we both have a little sumpn sumpn to say on THAT subject!
