What's your favorite exercise video? I'm thinking of gettng one that's a little more aerobic/dancy than straight up weight-lifting and sit-ups...Just trying to see what people like.

Personally I love Leslie Sansone's Walking Away the Pounds DVDs.  When I was 376 I started with the 1 mile and now I'm on the 2 mile and going to order the 3 mile within a couple of weeks.  I've tried a couple other videos, however, just didn't care for them.  Just find what works for you.  I actually just purchased an exercise ball and Leslie Sansones Exercise Ball DVD.  I'll let you know how it goes.  I'm planning on trying them out this week.

Personally, I don't use exercise videos because my coordinations sucks and I usually end up bored for whatever reason. (Maybe I just don't have the right videos. lol) However, My girls (ages 13, 16, 19) LOVE Tae Bo and my oldest just informed me earlier tonight that you can lose up to 1500 cal a session on it. I love that number but I just don't think I have enough balance or stamina to get through a hole session without A) falling on my face or B) dying of a heart attack so I think I will wait a while before tackling them. We we lucky and found 4or 5 Tae Bo videos at the local Dollar General on clearance for $2 a piece about a year ago. They were well worth the small investment for my girls.

Good luck on finding the right video for you and let us know.

I've recently been researching different things that will work with my fitness and lifestyle.  I also like the more aerobic/dance type work outs other than my bike, and tired of all the ones I have.  I heard a few people on here talk about Zumba dancing, and after watching several videos on you tube I'm definitely going to try it.  Actually I'm going to try to work out just using the you tube ones this week and see if I still like them before ordering them.   I've also used Tai Boe a lot in the past and the walking tapes and have good success with them, along with good ol' Richard Simmons for a slower pace workout. :)

Good luck on your search!   You'll have to let me know if you find anything interesting and fun!

DD was in dance 4 years & DS 2 years, so when I am feeling silly I cut on music videos & we have dance-off contests (also in the car all the time).  I'm usually a judge except for a song or two, but if I participated more, it could be more calories :).  Also, we have a channel that is FitTv with lots of aerobics/ dance aerobics that you could Tivo or DVR.
