What have you done today to make you feel proud? (Posting for Mary)

I'm posting for Mary - she's gambling.
My best friend's son came from Minneapolis to visit me this weekend. He really doesn't come to see me; he comes for chicken and french fries and gravy @ Jax Grill. He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES the southern cream gravy here in Houston and misses it so much. Last time he came to visit, I took him to Galveston, NASA, the museum, Toys R Us, etc. and the whole time, he kept asking when we were going to go to Jax Grill. So, his visit this time will consist of every meal @ Jax Grill. He is so happy when he's eating his gravy. In fact, after he finished his chicken and french fries, he asked if he could eat the leftover gravy with a spoon. Of course I said yes but had to look away so I wouldn't !
I'm proud that I ate healthy in the midst of burgers, fabulous french fries and onion rings and a pile o' nachos that is beyond fabulous! I didn't even have one french fry (not that he would have shared) and I only ate half of my meal - grilled chicken, steamed veggies and a few bites of rice.
What have you done today to make you feel proud?
I stuck to my diet today even though my husband was stuffing his face with one of my favorite foods (triple decker chicken club sandwich with a LG order of fries.) It's the first time we've eaten out since I started my protein bar diet. I was marvelous!! I kept myself busy sipping my diet (I know!!) drink and talkng about the issues of the day. It wasn't so bad. Next time, I think I'll pack a bar with me.
Afterwards, we went to Office Depot to pick out some stickers for my shiney new chrome legs. (forearm cruthces) I'm going to bling it out I think.
My proud? I scraped the crust offa Marie Callendar broccoli quiche and ate a sliver for breakfast. NOT half the freakin pie as I might have in another life.
Honorable mention: took my wog before work.
I went to a birthday party and ate a very small slice of cake. I guess that is my high point for the day :)
I had a very busy day following a little girl who thinks she is 16. We had to go in ALL the stores, and look at EVERYTHING, and try on EVERYTHING, and somethings even trying them on twice! She was a trip. I'm finding out my little princess is turning into a little woman who doesn't want anything to do with pink, or characters, or HSM, or Hanna Montana..THANK GOD! She has the attitude of "never been there, never done that". I call it a litte Miss Priss..lol my new name for her! Just kidding, but wow...she is!haha
So while she drags me through all of this I'm carrying all of her bags for her while she's grabbing everything in sight. I swear my arms are killing me. By the time we were done I was carrying probably a good fifty pounds I think. It sure felt like it anyway. So I will have to say I got some exercise in, carrying that thing wayyyyyy through the mall and wayyyyyy down to the car. That is after went to the wrong floor and searched for our car. Come to find our car was on another level!ARGHH
But she had fun, and that's what counts. It's time to adopt a baby, my baby is growing up. That really sucks. So what did I do, go to Pizza Hut and had fun with the kid at the next table.hehehe I love babies.
How old is your daughter? I'm wondering how many years I have left before I'm in that stage! So far my daughter HATES shopping for clothes and is happy to wear sweat pants and hockey jerseys every day. I'm sure that will change when she starts school (she misses the cut off for this year, so I've got another year of her home).
