What did you eat today? 08/12
If you like Atkins I don't see why you shouldn't give it another shot. Unless there is some kind of requirement that you can't being that you have a band. Did you ever get another fill? I know you were thinking about it, but I don't remember seeing an outcome.
B: steel cut oats, flax, and blueberries
L: veg. chili over tons of spinach, oz of soy cheese, and almonds
D: veggie soup, salad with fruit toppings, and larabar for dessert.
How about trying South Beach? It's like Atkin's the first couple of weeks but then you can have a bigger variety of foods. South Beach is working well for me. I'm down 15 pounds in 4 weeks eating 5-6 small meals for a total of 1600 calories a day.

L: fajita chicken salad with a drizzle of tequila-lime dressing (350)

Today.
2 whole eggs w/2egg whites and 2 servings of mexican 4 cheese
2 slices of turkey w/2 slices of provolone
about 6 ounces of this things I made:
85/15 ground beef in a pan with peppers, onions and garlic, 1 can of diced tomatoes (too many carbs but I eat around 'em) and chili powder. This is all topped with that 4 cheese mexican.
It's pretty darned good too.
Also like 6 bottles of water
2 cups of coffee
exercise: 45 minutes eliptical warm up - 60 minutes of hard weight training, 30 minutes of eliptical .... then I went back for another 30 minutes of treadmill.
I did something called Pro Cal many, many moons ago.. it was a shake or you could make a pudding out of it. I lost the weight, I surely did, but it's hard to socialize when everyone else is eating those chicken wings I made and I'm eating a fake chocolate pudding! LOL I like the "real" of Atkins. No?

2 slices Ezekial sesame toast
1 Tbsp butter
L: 4 oz 98% FF turkey breast
1 slice RF swiss
sliced tomatoes and cucumbers
S: 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese
2 Tbsp SF jelly
D: HUGE salad with romaine, cucumbers, mushrooms, radishes, red onion, tomatoes
5oz grilled chicken breast sliced on top
EVOO& balsamic vinegar dressing
6 spears steamed asparagus
Carb Down day....1 starch before 3PM
Calories....1171
