Hi,
Since this forum is non-surgical weight loss, is anyone here who had a takedown?
I am having reversal of my vbg on Sept 18 after years of throwing up, among other complications.
I will need to diet after, I never got to goal, just wondering if others here had done the same.
Thanks,
Kim

Hi Kim,

Interesting to see your post.  I had a lapband done by the same doc as you.  I also live very close to you in sunny southern Indiana!

I had my band pulled out last year.  Weightloss is still tough -- always will be, but throwing up every time I ate was causing more harm -- and it's no way to live.  Send me a PM if you want to chat about it.  I'm curious to hear about your experiences through all of this!

Wow! I'm so sorry both of you have been going through that! Those kinds of complications are exactly why I opted for weigh****chers.

Losing weight is tough no matter which way you choose to do it. My best advice is to just stick to which ever program you decide is best for you. I chose WW because they really teach you how to eat healthy, to listen to your body's hunger signals, and how to eat in the real world. I've had many ups and downs in my WL journey but given where I started from, I'm in such a better, happier place now.

Good luck to you both!
